Ah okay buddy fair enough

Been a while since I updated this, nothing major just a good full service and new tyres on the wheels I've been wanting to put on for ages. Also had the side panels and the top of the door wrapped in gloss black. Going full rep! Also made another purchase 👀 see if you can guess what it is 😅 Went to combe last week was great having so many starlets on one stand! Car was on the back row hence why it's not in shot 😂 Have a few more things to get done to the car but not much else after that! I've the other to keep me busy for now!

Past few weeks I've been asking for prices to get bits painted, the bootlid had a silver spoiler and a glanza plate surround fitted but was painted poorly, it had a tiny bubble of rust around the wiper arm to which I wanted fixing. A mate gave me a new bootlid which was red so fitted it and got the window tinted, the old bootlid got stripped and the bits off it will be painted soon. The car itself was so badly faded I wanted it sorted badly. Got my mate who done the old starlet and he worked his magic yet again! Going back next week to finish the rest off and get

Sold my Gen 6 Celica so the starlet is back on the road! 😎 I've managed to get a few more jobs done. Headlights polished And I meshed the front grill, only took 5 minutes and looks the business Still waiting for a quote on the paint for bits but just glad it's back on the road!

With still being off work and haven't lots of spare time I bought some carbon wrap and covered a few bits to match the interior. It ain't a bad job for a first try but it was cheap and improves the inside. Also got a rubber wheel and got the side strip adhesive off, it made quick work of it but was a pig of a job Bought a rear plate surround and I'm gonna try and do the same I done with the old starlet and smooth the lights out, watch this space!

So after lots of trail and error I finally got a headlight clip that is spot on. It doesn't have the tab but you don't need it. If you need to take it off just use a flat head screwdriver on the bottom of it. Fits like a glove. If anyone is interested in a set, let me know.

Few more things have been done, making the most of being at home and 3D printed some parcel shelf clips. Works a treat. Also been trying to make some headlight clips and the test one I made is pretty close but I'll fit them and see how it fits. Watch this space. Got some front glanza interior plastics to go with the rears. The rear plastics are in awful nic but they'll do for now. No idea what the button was for from the previous owner but I like to think it was for a ejector seat 😂 Got a new gear gator to fit and just a general clean up. Got the side s

Bought a few more bits but haven't turned up yet, managed to take advantage of the sunny weather and underseal the rear arches. Didn't cost me a penny cause I had the underseal from my last starlet so happy days 👍🏻 Still loads on the list to do!

Managed to get loads done this week being stuck in the house with nothing better to do! Fitted the fog light so have a set now Fitted some LED bulbs to the interior lights and a new gear gator Carbon wrapped clock surround and was going to fit a set of GLS clocks but got shafted with a set that was broke 👎🏻 And finally fitted the side skirts. They are black but I'm not sure to paint them or match the spoiler and roof the same colour 🤔 Car still needs polishing and servicing but ages for that cause there ain't a show for ages 😂

Done some more stuff to car today Wind deflectors on New wheels on Stripped the rear seatbelts and plastics out and had glanza side plastics put in. Also got my side skirts and sorted a few other bits which have been on the list Needs a good clean and a proper polish, had a go on a wing and came out well, I have a set of glanza wings in white but I think I might just polish the original up and keep them on. Tyres need pumping I know 😂😂😂 Booked my japfest ticket last week so need the car looking good by then so more will be done soon.

Been thinking about doing a rear boot build with MDF, just wondering if anyone can gimme any advice on measurements or what they used? Thanks
