body work some first pics of it outside after running it it for a few miles, it got mapped at engine advateges made 240 at 1 bar hen when started to turn the boost up it started to det like mad, could of been a few things, after doing a couple k the turbo gave up so looked around for something a bit different, had loads of ideas ;) but went for a vf23 bb turbo, then got a custom mani made and downpipe from ricky lee, when the car ws apart got rid of aload of stuff that you dont need,washer bottles, horn, power steering and clean and tidy up the engine bay, different intercool

is it me or has this same post been put up 3 days in a row, your best sourcing a car from japan and swapping your bits over, not the most difficult swap in the world if you have a donor car

Removing the gearbox help

if you say you have everything removed, it prob just stuck on the lug's, support engine from under the sump and give te box and good wiggle or a hit with a rubber mallet -
not a bad result mate, my old standard (ish) mk1 starlet made just over 140 atw at 0.8 bar, but you will find once you have some management and turn the boost up the turbo will come into it's own

Yeah abbot has changed us after seeing his engine bay yeah is a bit of rust about but very little, big big plans for this one, will update blue one later when I am home

yeah that's right moving over to the vtec side, bought this last week and is fairly mint, has a few little mods, manifold, decat, filter ecu etc, run 182bhp on the dyno at 8200 rpm ;) , here a few pics let us no what u think

yeah was pretty impresed by TDI'S workshop and there dyno equipment, and the way simon's car got dropped of jack with no wheel on it LOL, MOON BOOT'S rule
