I've got coilovers on at the minute and im switching for the koni adjustables not sure on what springs yet though. heard a lot of good things, my coilovers just seem to stiff, for instance going round a roundabout and theres a bump it almost throws the car off the road, i need something that will absorb the bumps in our shit roads,not something that will just bounce over it.

it does handle better i have adjusted my camber when i put the wheels on and after driving adjusted it a bit more,theres far more tyre touching the road which equates to more grip,also when pulling off it no longer set's the tyres on fire so im able to pull off at 3-4k rpm and hardly spin the tyres. it only scrubs because of the offset being 20 odd but now thats sorted.

at the end of the day starlets are ugly cars! no matter what you put on and what you do they are always going to be ugly. the starlet community has respect for good parts that have been put on a starlet so they say it is nice but there ugly both glanzas and especially gt's, but that's now why i bought my car it's about how the car drives and goes, and for me its driving and handling better.

i like em, that's all that matters they certainly look better than my old 15 inch feids.

i run 17's fitted them a few days ago, only got them because i was after some 3 spoke advans but some 3 spoke volks popped up local with brand new tyres for 90quid and my old wheels needed 3 new tyres that was going to be more than a new set of volks. anyway they are scrubbing a little bit but the one of the rears makes a weird noise but the offset seems a little low on them so some 10mm spacers should sort it out this is them on my car refurb is due to commence shortly as for ride, i seem to have more confidence at high speed,it feels more planted and going round corners it grips better

i have a genuine greddy type s to me after hearing them on big engined cars such as evos etc they don't sound that good i would consider selling it for the right price with the adaptor and everything though ;-)

cillit bang mixed with warm water in a spray bottle leave it on for 5 minutes and then just wipe clean works a treat for me ;)

i think im going liquid, when i get the new stickers for the wheels it should look pritty sweet, guna get my dremmel and autosol out and give the lips a good polish see how they turn out. my friend owes a body shop so it's only costing me £10 a wheel for a quality job i only have to pay for materials really. just need to get myself some smaller wheels nuts as the standard ones are hard to bolt up and stick out so the centre cap won't sit right, cant complain though i picked the wheels up for less than £100 with 4 brand new tyres ;):D:D:D

right guys picked my self a set of rays ultra c wheels, they need a refurb because the paint is flaking so im going to be chaning the colour of them, keeping the outer rim and just going to polish it up with my dremmel and autosol there going to look like this but obviously different colour i was just wondering what colour should i go for, i want something different and not boring something thats going to stand out but not in your face lol well these are the wheels colours that spring to mind are renault liquid yellow midnight purple a nice subtle green with a bronze coloured laquer

hey dude just take your glove box out and check the ecu its only 2 or 3 screws and then you can have a gander at the ecu, by the sounds of it you may have a aftermarket ecu or a second motherboard to your existing ecu or simply just a fcd. but till you know the spec i'd turn the boost down because like stated at 1 bar with the standard mani your going to be doing a rebuild pritty quick, especially with no fueling mods known to you.

thats awfull mate id be heartbroken if someone vadalised my car i feel sorry for you bud, but spending all you have on the car and not having a alarm is silly... also them dvd head units i believe dont have removeable facias well my 2 didn't thats the reason i got rid of em if thieve know what there looking for your asking for trouble with that too, i try to take every precaution to not entice a thief into breaking into my cars its worked so far (Touch wood)

they are all different really a lot out there to choose from Blitz Nur Spec, HKS Super Drager, HKS silent power etc , when i came to get one i got a custom one made for me from powerflow got to choose pritty much everything what i wanted, it cost a little more but its awsome and still looks like its brand new.
