Hai! Ive recently fitted my Greddy type-s to the GT and basicly insted of blowing off straight away, im getting compressor surge then its dumping.. Ive 'softened' it up but it doesnt really make a difference. I would of thought it would of been the other way round? When the high pressure opening the valve then once there isnt enough, the valve closes and may promote a little surge. Im most likely talking out my arse but im new to turbos Thanks Mitch

I keep seeing 14.7 psi = 1 bar Its actually 14.5 psi. 14.7 psi = 1 atmosphere = 1.01325 bar Mitch Edit: the post above is a winner.Cracking bit of math there!

Advice for buying a GT? Buy one off TGTT or UKSC, purely becuase of the fact were all (majority) mechanicly sympathetic enthusiasts. You generally get alot of history with the car also. My GT i bought was owned by two english owners,both from the forum. Mitch

The thicker one would be stiffer than the thinner, perhaps more suited to hard track use. Id go for the 22mm for road use. Mitch

This is a very good point and im glad nothing serious happened. I was driving back from work in the n/a (the day before id had the wheels off)and i pulled up on my drive and two nuts on the n/s rear were half hanging out! i thought...shit.. I think its because you do it so offen, i think i must of over looked it this time and forgot to torque just those two. Mitch

One of those is a cat C repaired. Id only pay 1100 for the sportif if it was immaculate, zero dents/scratches etc,healthy engine. Keep looking, dont rush into anything Mitch
