Unlucky Sparky.
Are you going to find out what caused the problem? DET, lean burn, ring gap etc etc
You could rebuild it and it could do it again, id be wanting to know what caused it in the first place.
-
Yes you do.
-
If your running a HKS actuator, just run a bar from that. IF you dont want to or if you dont have one, AVCR wins hands down.
Once you get your head round it its fairly simple to use.
-
Yeah and no, it starting missing on the dyno, but has scince been sorted.
Was pulling 200hp at 4k on the base map lol
Next month hopefully!
-
Sweet.
Cracking time, lets see what it can do at 22psi!!
-
Remember it will run lean the lower the pressure
Running 0.3 bar and it will run lean, as the tables in the map wont be fueling that much..
Same as 0.6 bar Sparky..
Hencde i said 0.74 bar fuels fine..

11.7 at the pod or crail?
From last weekend it seems mid 12s was the norm for him.
-
You can use both, with fine results
BUT if i were you id sell the Blitz and get the car mapped to suit. Better option.
I piggy backed the Mines ECU i had with the EMU at one point and it was fine. Sold the Mines, run the EMU on the STD ECU, then sold the lot and bought a power fc...

If your on a standard ecu, it will fuel fine at .74 bar.
Just get it checked on a wideband to confirm.
Why are you running a FCD at them boost levels anyway?
-
It isnt ready for a remap if the thing isnt running properly!
Did you make sure you have the water and vacume lines on the right way ta the throttle body?
Any smoke from the exhaust?
If you unplug the ICV what does the car do?
TPS adjusted ok?
Ignition timing ok?
-
Get the colour codes from them first then decide which one to take out.
All tial springs will fit any of there gates.
-
Whats the piston to wall clerance?
Whats the ring gaps?
Also what pistons are used?
-
Run the standard ecu etc for the MOT..... Easy.
-
I had one of these, cracking wee car. M reg Kudos in grey
Scrapped it not long ago, did pay for final bits to the CRX though
-
Did you try another map sensor?
Does it sound like its running on 3 cylinders?
. We then removed the vacuum to the MAP sensor and the idle went smooth and dropped down to around 1100. -
How long is your trip to work?
It could just be condensation build up, if its short stints.
Take it for a good run and see what happens from there.
-
What clutch are you running?
-
just take the clips out and run a sharp stanley blade through the sticky foam between the wind deflector and door as you prise them off gently and they will come off no bother
THis^^
I whiped a pair off in 5 mins, window down, clips off, stanley blade through the foam, and boabs your fathers brother.

Nice one
Whens the 1st fire?
-
Bit of sealer wont do any harm.
It can only really go in a certain distance, before it buts up against the cap.
-
Nice Spud, i see you have welded ports to the top side of the intake. Easy to get to now then! :haha:
-
Good stuff Iddy, even better that its going to be finished instead of you bitching out and breaking!
-
Everything plugged in as it should?
The guide works, thats already been proven
-
Your thinking is all wrong.
Think of the External wastegate like an actuator, set your base pressure and go from there. Simples.

Cool, whip up pictures of the pistons etc if you can, wouldnt mind a nose about them.
