  1. Tried the small bit of wire, didn't work. Fucking shitty things, a few millimeters of wire/connection causing all this trouble.
  2. No that's just my bee*R
  3. Would also like to hear an answer to this, have had a topic up but it's a page full of bumps and no replies lol... http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....mp;#entry213445 Where have you got the light for the wire going to? And the rest of the wires for that matter.
  4. The other day I was messing around looking at wires and stuff, looking where I could wire my rev gauge up to. I didn't cut any wires or really do anything, was just a bit too rough with it, and now one of the wires to the ECU (ignition timing or something I can't remember) is dodgy, the car starts and runs fine but if you wiggle the dodgy wire the engine splutters or just completely cuts out. Like I said the car starts and runs fine, but obviously bumpy roads are going to shake things about - the dodgy wire moving means the engine stalling. It could probably be solved with a bit of tape holdin
  5. Didn't read any of these posts mate but if it was me I'd be able to buy ALL of the things you listed for £500 or less. But that's just me, I wouldn't ever pay that much for some wheel nuts, it's pathetic. £15 ones off ebay do the same job. If you want extra security buy a couple of sets, that's only £30. I paid £150 for my wheels and tyres, ok the wheels weren't exactly my first choice (multispokes) but they do look good, and the tyres (Toyo T1-S) were almost brand new and easily worth over £150 alone. Ok, I got lucky with the wheels let's say you pay
  6. Does it do this all the time or is it doing it because you have the heater/wipers/rear window heater/lights on?
  7. Still no replies? :harhar: I've got a few meters of wire and some proper wire connectors now so it's good to go, just need to know where to get the wires for the light and the rev signal from. Also need to sort out my dodgy ECU wire problem.
  8. What wheels are they? Wouldn't mind some of them in white.
  9. I got my NGK's off ebay but that was months ago...
  10. fucking electrics My dad went out in the car tonight, and it fucking conked out after he put the heater on! So obviously it's something to do with me messing around yesterday, I didn't cut any wires or pull anything out other than the two wire block things that plug into the ECU. I'm 99% sure all it is is something has come loose. Any ideas anyone? side note - Also he said before it conked out it seemed like it had more power - I hadn't reset the ECU since I changed the air intake pipe and filter, so I think when i had the wires out of it yesterday it's also reset the ECU.
  11. I have been told this by another RS125 owner also.
  12. I'd love to know some performance figures aswell. They are 6 speeds I think.
  13. bump, would like to get this done today/tommorow
  14. I also like the YZF-R 125: and this is rediculous, I used to HATE bikes and now I'm starting to like them
  15. Pics from google, not 08/09 I think but still sexy
  16. CBR's are one of my favourite looking bikes (not really saying that much as I'm not really too interested in bikes). I have been told they were shit though, but that was by someone who rides an Aprilia.
  17. Sounds better tbh, rather not mess around with the ECU if possible. But I have read that you can get the RPM signal from the diagnostics box in the engine bay? Also, the 4EFE distributor doesn't use a king lead like the 4EFTE does. But the wires for the RPM signal are still there yeah? That's sorted then, the only one I'm left with now is the one for the light...
  18. Half of these posts can probably be deleted... anyway, I'm going to go to Maplin tommorow to pick up some stuff and attempt to do a proper job of it. Going to get some wire and connectors and whatever else I might need. If someone could delete the useless posts in here it would clear up any confusion. I've got two wires which are confusing me now. The RPM signal and the light. The power I think I can take from the headunit as that's only on when the car is on... simple. (Not that I use the casette player anyway ) Ground is easy. Which leaves me with the two wires. Can someone clarify what
  19. Lawnmower engine on a pushbike!
