  1. That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. Thanks
  2. Digging up old threads here, but just want to double check before I go spraying petrol everywhere - Is it ok to just do the "take the filler cap off" method? Or do you need to take the fuse out and get it out of the system?

    Hello

Welcome to UKSC, have a look on the Car Bibles for any basic stuff you need to know
  4. haha before I got new wheels & tyres on my starlet it was still on the standard shitty things, the tyres probably hadn't been changed for years there's was fuck all tread on them, in the wet it would sometimes spin through 1st and 2nd
  5. Oh nice one thanks mate, that's cheaper than what I expected Do you want me to PM you my address and stuff? Oh and since it's on paypal, I'm assume there'll be the 4% aswell? (Don't know if I've worked it out right, it's either £12.55 or £13 including the paypal charges.)
  6. don't take it seriously mate, only havin a wind up
  7. If that's what I think it is I'm tempted to post up a picture of eminem or something lol
  8. I'm fucking pissed off now. It's dry and fairly sunny all evening. AND AS SOON AS I GO OUT FOR A DRIVE, IT STARTS RAINING
  9. I'm sure everyone can remember last year, "summer" (if you could call it that) came really late, it was pissing down with rain for a looooooong time before we actually got some real decent sunny weather. The weather forecast is saying showers all week, it's fucking crap. The past few days it's been stupid, it rains, then dries up, then rains, then dries up, it's like tropical weather. Is it just me or is anyone else getting pissed off with it?
  10. No worries mate, thursday is good with me, let me know when you have the exact price, and I'll pay with paypal assuming you use it? thanks
  11. I did PM Sheekey but no reply so I'm guessing you don't reply to PM's requesting for parts. Anyway, I need a rotor arm for the 4EFE, I bought a rotor arm thinking the FE/FTE were the same but it seems they are not. My reg is R538FNA What would the price be including delivery?
  12. Less rambling, more about the car It's more of a story than a car review. no offence intended of course, just putting it out there
  13. I have considered this, seeing as I have no ties for where my money goes, I don't really spend money on anything, so it can all go on the car. But to be honest I doubt anything "serious" would happen with it for a while yet. I thought the standard 5 speed box was best for the N/A?
  14. Thanks again Rich, I'll have a look at that then. Last few things before I start looking too far into the future then realise this isn't going to happen for atleast a good 5-6 months Does anyone know who currently has the most powerful 4EFE, or what's been got out of one before without it going bang? Oh and I almost forgot - is this going to affect insurance in a big way? Let's say I go for 125bhp - that's a 66% increase from standard, which sounds like quite alot to me.
  15. Thanks Rich I have actually considered keeping the 4EFE, and not going for the 5E or forced induction. But it's just a matter of cost really, as I'm guessing you already know there's only so far you can go with it before you can't get any more out of it, and somewhere along the line it gets to the point where you're paying hundreds just for a small increase... Couple of questions to clear it up though - You said: Slightly bigger injectors. GLanza S are like +20cc Is that a good thing or not? Would they be ok? What would be the best thing to do with the exhaust, because the only custom
  16. this is a boxbox blatently means backbox though
  17. lmao The correct phrase is "I aint having no french car passing me lol"
  18. Cheers sparky, I thought about the BMC CDA, with the air feed somewhere in the front. For the exhaust, I've seen a few like the Blitz catback, but it's £500, which to me looks f**king expensive and it's not even stainless steel apart from the backbox or something like that. I saw a topic a while ago with 4-2-1 manifolds, might grab one of those... (this here http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=11489 ) And for injectors, would Glanza S injectors be good enough? Just incase I decide to go a bit further, what would the next steps be after this? Lightened+balanced f
  19. Oh and what's this I keep reading about lightweight pulleys? Do they make a good noticable difference, are they worth the money, etc...
  20. http://www.carbibles.com/ few things here too http://www.torquecars.co.uk/ Oh and if you want my opinion... I think standard EP82's with GT spoilers look amazing.
  21. What about the GT bonnet? It has the scoop...
  22. Yeah I know what you mean, I wont get my hopes up on this then, I'll just wait and see what happens.
  23. Sounds like quite a lot of work then... It would be nice to have painted calipers though And really, 10%-15%? might aswell not have rear brakes lol and no I'm not wanting ABS or nothing like that, if it makes any difference.
  24. What should be the next performance mod for the N/A after the corolla manifold? I'll be getting a rolla mani in a few weeks hopefully, and this week when I do a service on the car it will have decent spark plugs, leads, etc... From what I hear the standard airbox is better or just as good as an open filter, so I'll leave that for now. Exhaust seems to be the next logical thing, but I don't think I'll be wanting a loud exhaust, not my sort of thing really. I've been told a decat on the standard exhaust will probably sound shit, so I'm unsure what to do. Eventually I'll be aiming for 100bhp.
