Where would you get a splitter from? And what's VR6? The only thing I can think of with VR6 is the VW Corrado VR6, is it just the splitter off that?
-
So they can be changed to work exactly like standard N/A lights then? sorted
-
I'd go with oil or water temp, but I wouldn't be able to decide which one
-
I don't see any red on the bottom Either way, wouldn't it be possible to do a bit of a bodge and paint over it in white? lol
-
Thanks Idrees, I have some questions for you about Glanza body panels though which I'll PM you tommorow if you don't mind answering them. Anyway I'm off to bed now it's 2 oclock
-
Well in that case I'll be after a set of late spec glanza lights in a month or two then
-
So you could do the same with late spec glanza lights then?
-
just what I was thinking you don't see many white GT's
-
It looks like it could be done with the glanza ones too if you got the right bulbs and wiring...
-
It looks cleaned because I'd just cleaned it Still needs another go over and polishing though, oh and if you look hard enough you'll notice one of my roof strip thingies is missing, the f**king wind blew it off a while ago. And I quite like the front of the N/A, I think if I did get a glanza boot lid + spoiler I'd want a splitter or something on the front. I think a Glanza V bonnet would make it look more aggressive but they don't fit do they?
-
Yeah it says Sportif on the side it's just the sportif stickers that come with it, they'll be off soon though. I've been thinking about getting a glanza bootlid + spoiler + late spec lights, what do you guys reckon? It wont be for a good few months down the line, but it seems a good idea.

:D Feb 2008 - Sept 2009 RIP Here are a few pics... (the original pics were too big so here are small ones)

happy bday, mine is in 6 days (12th)

agree, I can't stand it, it's a load of shit, shouldn't be shown on tv
-
take some piccies when you're there and get them posted up when you're back

Those really annoy me aswell, but the one that really gets on my nerves is "wut". "Wot" and "Wat" are tolerable from idiots but who the f**k even pronounces it as "wut".

\/\/h47 4b0u7 1337 5p34k? I'm sure rick would understand

Well I wont be buying anything for a while yet, even though I do have a bit of a shopping list, I'll be after a set of those late spec Glanza lights eventually though. Few more questions though - Since the Glanza has the reverse lights where the numberplate holder is, how would they work? would they have to be wired up differently or something? And Idrees - they definately fit straight on without any modifications needed? So it's just a matter of swapping the units and wires and that's it? Alternately... Rick is there any chance of getting me a standard EP91 N/A light, passengers side f

Can you fit 98 spec lights on an N/A, without any modification to the boot/bumper? Or would you have to get a Glanza bootlid/rear bumper?
-
should have made it a poll ;)

Suspension (shocks/springs) and lowering quesions
ste91 replied to ste91's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Well I wont want to be spending that much for various reasons. Which would be best then - getting some cheap second hand ones from jap with a slight chance of bein a bit rubbish or getting brand new ones that cost more but guarenteed to not be dodgy -
Suspension (shocks/springs) and lowering quesions
ste91 replied to ste91's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Is there any sort of "guarentee" with used springs/shocks though? I mean is there a chance you could end up getting some absolutely shagged shocks and some springs that have lost their tension? I'd rather not save £100-£150 now and then end up paying another £400 for a new setup if that makes sense. Nothing will be happening for about a month or two yet though, but I like to plan ahead. To be honest I'm not too fussed about getting some top of the range sort or stuff, just something decent aslong as it's not cheapo rubbish. -
I paid about 29 quid (probably less) I think it was for a set of NGK Iridiums. www.sparkplugs.co.uk
