  1. Haven't been to one, wouldn't mind going. Do they even have rollerblading there anymore?
  2. first time for everything ;)
  3. What about 97 NA?
  4. How much are they? I wouldn't mind some of them nevermind, I asked the question before clicking on the link...
  5. lmao I couldn't help but laugh at the spelling  happy bday, only 7 weeks and I'll be on the road aswell
  6. Would fitting free-flowing silencers to the standard exhaust be possible, if so, would it do any good? Or would it just be pointless aswell as sounding shit?
  7. I suppose I'd better answer that so I don't sound like an asshole  I said: because there's always someone talking about backpressure and all that sort of thing, wether it's true or not I don't know which is why I said "stupid issues" and "that sort of rubbish". I'm talking about the idiots who buy backboxes from halfords because they want it for the noise.
  8. The gold ones are out of the question, they've gone too expensive for my budget considering they come with barely legal tyres. The others are still at £155 though with 2 days remaining, could be possible buy. But I'm just unsure on how "euro style" wheels will look on a starlet. Any opinions?
  9. You could buy a Starlet, a Supra, a GT-Four AND an MR2 with that amount of money
  10. As opposed to what, getting your post count up?
  11. I haven't had any experience of any handling mods so don't take my word for it, but after rear anti roll bar and anti lift it would be worth looking at front and rear strut braces considering they are fairly cheap.
  12. That's not too bad then, what's this "adapter plate"? Is that just to make it fit the correct pipe size or something?
  13. I'll be getting a Corolla manifold of course, but I've been thinking about exhaust/intake. For the price they cost they just don't seem worth it Correct me if I'm wrong but a full exhaust system is a few hundred quid and would be pointless to me because I don't want the noise (which is why alot of people buy them, unless they're poor and can only afford a backbox) and the power gain would be small for what it would cost. (And then there's the stupid issues like bigger pipe = lose power and all that sort of rubbish). And as for an induction kit I've heard the standard airbox is good enough and even some Jap tuning companies keep the standard one? Of course there's the sound of an induction kit but unless I get one cheap I'm not paying £100+ for one. And on top of that it puts the insurance up. This post seems pretty pointless and just looks like me doing alot of talking but I just want to make sure I'm not wrong on anything and missing something out. So: Standard airbox maybe with aftermarket panel filter (I assume this is better than the standard one although wouldn't it be better to use standard ones and just change them more often?) Heatwrap exhaust mani? Would there be any gains for this? Since heatwrap is usually cheap on fleebay or something
  14. nah not here yet mate, when did you post it? should be here tommorow then I guess did the postage cost much?
  15. you could always spray one mate buy a shitted up rusty one, sand off the rust, then spray it
  16. Try looking for a Corolla one (whatever year rolla came with the 4EFE) and see if it's any cheaper, I'm gonna look when I can be bothered
  17. also try ebay there's a few on there
  18. that's pretty much the same price I've seen on ebay, £30 distr cap and rotor arm should be no more than a fiver each, bloody ripoff!
  19. Is that the GT one from Tintin? If it is, I've bought that one
  20. Are you getting the leads from Toyota? If you are, will you let me know how much the cost you? I'm going to be collecting parts to do a service soon, but can't find dizzy cap or rotor arm cheap anywhere! Let me know how much it costs
  21. just came back to the pics (found them on page 24 at last ) but you've already posted 'em I may have to steal your idea if I get an new filter but for now the standard airbox will do
  22. hang on, I'll go and check didn't check every page of every topic, that would have taken hours
  23. rocket cover LMAO! the easiest way to do it (but also a pain in the ass to find one) would be to get another rocker cover, paint it and everything first, then just do a straight swap as said though it might be difficult to find another cover (maybe get one off a nackered engine at a scrappy or something)
  24. I've found a couple of BBS wheels on ebay which I like, but I'm unsure as to wether they'll suit the Starlet. I have no "side shots" of my Starlet so I'll have to find one if someone wants to try doing a photoshop. Here are the wheels: #1: and #2, not so good pictures on these but you get the idea: I think they're nice but unsure if they'd suit a white N/A.
  25. N/A Starlet, with 2 or 3 cold air feed pipes, one of the pipes was the front part of the standard plastic pipe wrapped in tin foil and then extended, looked the dogs danglies. I can't remember the colour of the car or anything all I remember was a few pipes to the air filter I've looked through almost a whole page of topics and can't find it, I've given up.
