  1. What, you're saying that's an unmodified Starlet? With a grille that looks like it came out of someone's house?
  2. Well they got the description right... "bodywork needs attention" damn f**king right it does.
  3. I was going to buy the rear one of those (I already had a front one at the time) but I didn't go for it in the end. But I ended up paying £26 for a front one off a GT and £50 for a GReddy rear. (Both prices including postage). If you're in no rush to buy one I'd say wait and grab a bargain and get one that might be a bit better.
  4. Different models: Starlet Glanza V - 1.3 turbo Starlet GT - 1.3 turbo Starlet (UK version) 1.3 N/A Starlet Glanza S - 1.3 N/A - slightly more power than the UK N/A model there are a few more but those are the most common
  5. If a bus bumped into my car I wouldn't be in the mood for being nice either.
  6. Where abouts is it? I am possibly interested in going depending on the distance...
  7. Or you could find a crashed GT/Glanza that has body/chassis damage and just take the engine out of it. Obviously easier said than done, but it's just another option.
  8. Read the section on valves and you'll see: http://www.carbibles.com/fuel_engine_bible.html
  9. my mistake lol What I meant to say was, recently (from the 90's onwards) the japs have been able to get the same amount of power from a much smaller engine than the americans do from their big engines. The japs have really progressed and moved on from the 70s, whereas the americans are still using the same 30 year old engine.
  10. Well it's just typical american really "bigger is better" and all that. I wont say anything more because someone might get annoyed with my narrow minded opinions Japs can get the same power from much smaller engines with better economy aswell.
  11. that's a pretty pathetic BHP figure for an engine of that size torque must be good though?
  12. Would it be worth doing a de-cat on a completely standard exhaust? (standard backbox aswell)
  13. don't worry not all of it's rubbish I've been tempted to buy a few things there but back on topic, where abouts is bluewater? a few idiots messing around ruined it for everyone else or is it just asshole security people?
  14. Nah I'd imagine they just detect the idiots by their chavvy mods "oi you with your halfords accessories, get out"
  15. I can't believe how expensive they are
  16. Welcome to the club, what sort of Starlet are you looking for? Glanza/GT/N-A?
  17. Is this new GTA worth buying a PS3/360 for?
  18. I really like those 'ludes, it looks amazing in white.
  19. One thing you have to take into consideration though, the Swift GTI is insurance group 11, whereas the Starlet is a mere 4 or 5 for some models.
  20. nevermind I just came accross a picture of one while looking around brand new genuine toyota rotor arm is for sale if anyone is interested, I'll post it in for sale section later
  21. Bought a front strut brace £25, quick delivery+good price, all easy no hassle thanks again bud
  22. nevermind the lag, hows the (lack of) traction?
  23. I bought a new rotor arm along with all the other service parts, but the rotor arm is completely wrong. I assumed the 4EFE had the same rotor arm as the 4EFTE but I'm not sure, I need to know wether the one I've bought is just some random wrong one or if it fits a 4EFTE so I can either send it back or sell it to someone who has a 4EFTE. So if someone could get me a pic of their rotor arm off a Glanza/GT that would be great.
