  1. Oh I forgot I've got a brand new rotor arm for the 4EFTE here, I bought it thinking the 4EFE and 4EFTE used the same bits but no... For sale if you want it, hasn't been used or anything, just been in my wardrobe along with the rest of my car stuff for a couple of months lol.
  2. Rotor arm is about £12 similar sort of price for dizzy cap I think And I paid 35 quid I think it was for some NGK plug leads
  3. As others have said and as I've said before - looking forward to seeing how the TB's turn out Oh and of course looking forward to buying the rolla mani
  4. My advise would be to just do a full service on the ignition parts, you said you already got new plugs so get new leads, rotor arm, and distributor cap. Check battery connections to make sure nothing's loose, then it should be fine.
  5. If it's only a 1.1 then you'd love even a non tubby Starlet Right I'll have a go at what you asked for, these are the 5 most common models: EP91 Starlet non turbo (96-99) EP91 Starlet Glanza S (non turbo) (96-not sure because they're sold in Japan only, so they're an import here) EP91 Starlet Glanza V (turbo) (96-not sure because they're sold in Japan only, so they're an import here) EP82 Stlarlet GT (not sure what year they started at but they're up to 95 I think) EP82 Starlet non turbo (same as above) Myself I'm 17 and I've got an EP91 non turbo, my insurance is £1000 on a prov
  6. I have no idea mate but it's definately going to be expensive for sure. just out of interest what size engine did you have in your 106 and what mods (if any) I have a feeling you may be surprised by the non turbo Starlets and take a liking to them aswell
  7. All I have to say is I hope you have deep pockets mate
  8. Labour is crap not that any of the others are much better but gordon brown is a useless wanker
  9. I have a GReddy rear strut brace, they're great. Just make sure you tighten it up loads before you put it on, it's really awkward to do once it's fitted.
  10. You definately wont be disappointed with Toyo tires, go for it.
  11. Rotas are done to death but tbh I like them aswell... Also love the RS5s. What colour is your car though and what is it?
  12. It wasn't even as good as I thought it was going to be (last nights episode). I didn't catch the last ten minutes either, I went out. Who won the race?
  13. 40 is fine, but if I were you I'd get some better shock absorbers aswell.
  14. the shit paint lol he's not wierd, he just wants pies
  15. I'm not too good when it comes to turbo's, but as I said if you're putting more fuel in you'll need more air aswell to keep the air/fuel mixture at the correct ratio. But this is where the restrictions of the standard exhaust manifold and TMIC come in...
  16. No it's just me being picky Anyway, if you're going to increase the amount of fuel going in, you're also going to need to increase the amount of air going in, so you still get the right air/fuel mixture. Too much fuel will mean you're running rich and losing power and mpg, too much air will mean you're running lean, the engine will be running hotter than it should be...
  17. Easy way to check if it has power steering if the owner doesn't know: (ok that sounded silly, of course the owner is going to know, but anyway...) Lift up the bonnet, the power steering pump will be near the bottom left corner. If there's just an empty space then it obviously hasn't got PS.
  18. Are you american or something? stock --> standard
  19. Sportif is like the base model... no electric windows or nothing... SR has 25mm springs, TTE spoiler and back box, Speedline wheels. I can't quite remember properly but I think the Solida or GLS? Has electric windows and aircon or something like that. And some have a sun roof. Try to buy one from an old lady with service history and less than 75k miles and it should be fine. Past 100k they start burning oil apparently. I have encountered no problems so far... The mpg is good on them (40-44 mpg) aslong as you don't rag it. I'd suggest having a look at the spark plugs, HT leads, rotor arm,
  20. lol EP91 N/A's are much better than dturbos If it was me, I'd keep the GT, sell the 306, buy a non turbo Starlet, and once you're old enough to get proper insurance on the GT, keep the nonturbo as a run around.
  21. If I were you Cal I'd sell the 306 and buy an N/A Starlet...
  22. It was just a £10 replacement panel filter I put on today...
  23. hahaha that's great the "spanner" is hilarious
  24. ste91
