N/A Starlet, with 2 or 3 cold air feed pipes, one of the pipes was the front part of the standard plastic pipe wrapped in tin foil and then extended, looked the dogs danglies.
I can't remember the colour of the car or anything all I remember was a few pipes to the air filter
I've looked through almost a whole page of topics and can't find it, I've given up.
-
No it just goes where the little breather pipe goes when you change something (I can't remember what) that doesn't have the little thing for the pipe to connect to. So you need a breather filter.
Sorry for the crap explination but I can't think of how to explain it without pictures.

bump because I'm impatient

Engine bay looks very tidy, glad to see I'm not the only one with a steelie-wearing granny mobile
I need some alloys too.
I noticed you have a front strut brace, do you have a rear one too?
How did it affect the handling? (I'm waiting for my front brace to be delivered atm, going to buy a rear one in the near future).

I've looked all over for a distributor cap/rotor arm/ht leads for the Starlet and can't find anything anywhere.
Only leads I've found are expensive £70+ ones, and rotor arm+dizzy cap for thirty f**king quid?
I've been told it's a waste of time going to Toyota they'll be just as expensive apparently.
I'm guessing the Corollas with 4EFE's used the same rotor arm/distributor cap/HT leads/fuel filter/oil filter/etc...
If not, does anyone know where I can get some from for cheap?

not noticable to the untrained eye... but this is UKSC.. every fucker spots things at a hundred metres ;o)
hahahaha

Orange are a bunch of tosspots, they told me near the end of last year I could upgrade my phone for free in January... so we called them up in January and they said it's gonna cost £86+ to upgrade! I decided to keep the phone I've got.

don't leave that spoiler lying around, a woman might mistake it for an ironing board

unless it's a turbo, stop being silly and put a standard one on

I didn't quite get what you meant at first so I had to read it again lol
So you think these people targetting Starlets know who they belong to and exactly what mods are on them?
Makes sense but surely they'd have to have some way of knowing the exact address/location of them?

Go and set their caravan on fire

Shit, that scared me then until I noticed the wheels I thought it was my car haha (almost exactly the same)
And I agree with Liam, keep em as they are
-
The novelty of it will wear off after a bit, then it will just be annoying.
At which point you just get the recirc back on

It's a myth that you hear the BOV when you change gear - as paul said it's when you take your foot off the pedal.
People seem to think it's when you change gear, because you take your foot off the pedal when you change gear and that's what they hear.
You just wont hear it as often because you wont be lifting off the throttle as much as a manual.

You're a girl, you can't use technology
I disagree, washing machines are quite complicated

ave any of use updated your engines for your n/a?
say if i wanted to get the glanza engine or the seo engine were could you find it a scrapy yard or sumthing?
Find one off a car that someone is breaking, one that's been in a crash or something but the engine is still fine.
I've also seen a few 4EFTE's on ebay recently.
Just make sure they're not burning oil or making any funny noises that they're not supposed to.
-
But he tryd registering n was a retard n clicked he was under 13 or sumin
lmao ;)
the retard bit reminded me of borat where he's speaking with that man about jokes and he says his brother is a retard ;)

Aslong as they haven't been thrashed.
But then again, jap engines can take quite a bit of bashing, there are Toyota Previa's (different car I know, but just an example) around with over 250k miles on them still running fine.
-
anyone else think this speed camera nonsense might just be a coverup for this thing they were on about with us having to "pay-per-mile" ?
has anyone read the first post after the statement on the pistonheads site LMAOyeah some of those replies were hilarious ;)
-
Speed limits are a load of bullshit if you ask me, the dangers differ from person to person and possibly even in difference of cars.
Some people can quite easily handle a car at 70mph while others can barely handle one at 30.
Wether you crash at 30 or 70 it's still going to make a mess, and like someone else said on there - whats the point of having a windscreen if you're constantly looking at the speedo?

I think the mk1 Yaris looks alright, the mk2 is hideous.
-
I happen to think Yaris' are quite nice tbh ;)
that's because you're a woman ;)

cheers will do a search on them.
by the way. what is the best alloy wheel size on glanzas for perfromance and handling on say d2 coilovers?
15 inch or 16inch? and what offset are glanzas also
and also what tyres and tyre sizes are best?
I've always been told 195/50/15's, and I can't remember the offest it's around 38 or something like that.

I've found a couple of BBS wheels on ebay which I like, but I'm unsure as to wether they'll suit the Starlet.
I have no "side shots" of my Starlet so I'll have to find one if someone wants to try doing a photoshop.
Here are the wheels:
#1:
and #2, not so good pictures on these but you get the idea:
I think they're nice but unsure if they'd suit a white N/A.
