  1. Internal or external wastegate?? internal could be a weak/furked actuator, split vaccum pipe External could be the boost controller settings, plumbing, split vaccum pipe ( try just running wategate spring pressure) if that work you know its the boost controller if not then watse gate
  2. Liking the toms kit and EXTRA points for it being genuine too!!!!
  3. Simple answer: yes or you can t in where the stock map sensor is and mount it in the same place.
  4. i have a walbro for sale mate pm me an offer,
  5. yeah im defo interested pm me a price and will 98 spec fit without any changes.? either way i just need some accurate dials as sumonme fitted indigo dials which are fucked and have messed on with the dials and they dont read accuratly
  6. Get some pics up dude but good work, not the nicest job to do a head gasket!!
  7. i have a wepr tdo04 manifold and i would highly recommend them!! mild steel with stainless welds !! like above fix the manifold and you might aswell do the actuator while your on as it will be about 15 years old anyway so best off doing it while manifolds off, as for lumpyness get the timing checked, spark plus leads etc.
  8. My cars 96 spec mate, I take it they are different to 98?
  9. small pin or soak it in petrol and blow it out with an air line
  10. Im after a set of Glanza dials, preferably un-molestered and standard, with gauges that read accuratly ( havent been moved whilst changed) Peter
  11. Only took about an hour was well worth the time spent!! Yeah i love the colour!! i want to do my works in that colour.

  13. The profec B's are ok if you know how to set them up, took me a lot of trial and error on my 200sx.
  14. Condensation ?? Over fueling?
  15. little update ive fittted my jam spolier but im unsold on it, the jury is still out hahah
  16. no worries fella^^ The learning curve learns how you drive it ( how boost builds through the rev range) and that may not always be ideal in all conditions as you say it doesnt happen if you dont floor it but progressivly increase the revs. all cars are different in how the boost controller works i.e my setting may not work on you car even if i was running the same mods. Its what works for your car. I may just be a case of manually adjusting your settings- trial and error until boost is steady accross the range. im not trying to scare you but setting boost can end in tears if your not cauti
  17. Haha steady on fella, better safe than sorry until you know you fueling is correct a/f ratio theres a good read on plug and plays in the wiki. as for the controller shutting down I meant it will drop to the safe setting which should be stock boost or what ever you set it to if your over boosting (boost spikes) As for installing it thats fine but remember all cars are different when setting boost. Your probs right .05 spike will normally be fine you just need to make sure it's setup correctly as no one can predict how much boost will spike, rolling road is your best bet, or frequent blasts up
  18. sound like boost spike causing over boost then controller shuts it down to safe parameter, hard to diagnose on the net. Make sure your boost controller is setup properly, or get some one who knows, to do it as its very easy to kill your engine. p.s what boost controller is it?
  19. Really good mate, boost comes in smooth and hard, just how i like it but yeah td04 kicks you in the nuts, little bit laggy compared to ct9 but worth the extra power
  20. Standard internals, 1bar of boost with E-manage Blue, TD04l, wepr manifold and turbo smart ext waste gate, fmic, civic rad, rrfpr. I asked for a safe map too and still got 220hp at the fly.
  21. Black racing wheels can be quite rare depending on what you have got! they were made for the lower end of the price range/market bit like rota coppied alot of stuff good thread on them: http://honda-tech.co...d.php?t=2392578
