it was quite funny with the tires because i decided to change them for legal steelies, and that night i got pulled by police and my tires were checked, because i knew i was fully legal i said to the copper do you want me to lock the wheels over sarcastically lol. not trying to rub it in lol but for once i had a good experience with a cop on saturday night, i went through brum to go look at the totty lol, so police are everywhere, anyway i give the car a quick blip past 2 fit coppers chattering away and they was watching me lol. so the totty was that good i decided to go though a second time............. then i came to by the 2 fit women coppers (blond and a brunette) and they walk in the road towards me, so i go to my mate "oh here we go" i await my bollocking, but no she said "nice set of wheels matey" lol was funny as fuck at the time i just wanted to put them in the boot and drive off

wheels stick out 1.5" and are a pain in the arse for killing wheel bearings/ball joints etc

sod that they dont have much grip. all the wheels are back on now so looks loads better. just the bonnet really letting it down loads

ive never heard this before? i thought the db limit was 97, your police would have a field day by me with the civics lol

lol thats why i choose to rock some steelies for abit, recently got some more tires though so looking sweet again

well today went smoothly cars back up and running again for now. lol, pretty sure this wont be the last rant thread from me on another note the guy at the motor factors gave my the wrong belt, luckily i went back and changed it now time to ring its bloody neck Dean

fair play ive also done the whole pipe thing before ran like a scooby lol plus lots of steam from the exhaust

cheers people belive me its going to be on the floor the teins go really low anyway but because of these problems with the locking collars ive made some 1 off bottom suspension collar that allows the spring to sit 15mm lower than the standard tein will allow lol its all welded up so no more collapsed collars. ill update my build thread with tons of stuff later

lol the only reason it sits like that is because the suspension collars gave way, the stance i have install for it is mega and deffo hellaflush jae this year should hopefully see the ideas come to light

lol im not giving in them wheels are staying and the next set are going to really crazy this car stays lol

so after all the events in my stupid rant threat this is how the car was sitting just cant wait to lower it this low and more ( through choice ) Dean

so a week of yet more bad events with the car. the front nearside wheel bearing has been making a racket for a while now( the loudest wheel bearing ever like full on banging ) so ordered a bearing etc so decided to fit it Wednesday after work because a failed attempt with broken tools was not possible on Tuesday. so going smoothly until i snapped 1 of the bottom ball joint bolts off which are only 2 months old so i ordered a new 1. then i removed the old bearing which literally fell to pieces i did this by knocking it out with a hammer for hours lol because i couldn't be arsed to wait and use the press at work. so neways put the new bearing in packed full of grease etc fitted it all on no bother then ...... i went to fit the brake caliper but whilst i was hammering the bearing out id managed to bend the 12mm thick bracket on the hub that holds the caliper in place, so had to wait till Thursday after work before could start bending it back with heat because it was to late for noise on Wednesday. so that took ages now it gets funny...... i put the wheel back on and thought OK nothing will go wrong now. oh how wrong was i? well lowering it down slowly both my locking collars off my tein suspension snapped off so the car dropped straight on to my arch. at this point i was laughing thinking i don't fucking believe this? so took the suspension off and put a standard shock with lowering spring on which i knew would sit really low! but i though at least if i drive slow so it don't scrape i can get to work and weld/fabricate some parts to fix it. so decided ill take it up the road to see if it scrapes really bad? which it did then like not even a mile up the road the fan belt exploded into little pieces and a minute later the battery was dead no headlights power nothing, so i got my sister t bring me out a charged battery just so i could get home as broke down at the end of my road basically. lool some good has come from this though i know how low i want my car, well actually lower ill get some pics up of how it was looking Dean

mine goes 5mm uner the line on a regular basis, was well impressed earlier £20 v power did me 149 miles at £1.36 L just driving about too

whats the dates for this so i can book a few days off work as im planning on camping the whole weekend this year lol

ill deffo be at this 1 only thing is with allocated parking spaces is alot of people who turn up wont be on your list so it will just end up mixed all around. plus ill bring a fair few crazy cars too
