  1. i just cant see what possible is possessing the person to do it? does he think it will actually be any good! lol
  2. i agree other wise it all just blends into one, but if that is what you are going for- do it.
  3. posted up on tgtt, just read through a few pages it's absolutely unbelievable!! not in the way you may expect lol http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=224101
  4. get a picture of a potential car you like up load it on rarerims (rota alloys) and play around on there: http://rarerims.co.uk/virtual/
  5. i think white looks goos with silver imo
  6. will the standard glanza ep91 shocks and springs fit a 1992 ep82? or any year ep82?
  7. perhaps you just got a dud gauge, were did you get it from? is it the one from Harrison? if so i could imagine him giving you a dud gauge
  8. the boost gauge will read under 0 it's not until you put your foot down it will go up to around 0 mayb over then when you hit boost it should read what you are boosting at, check to line for leaks or crimps. i have never hit fuel cut in 5th only ever in 2nd and 3rd but now i have my adjustable actuator i have wound the boost down a bit to stop it hitting etc, what happens when the engine light comes on in 5th- nothing? or...?
  9. haha don't think it will have the same effect being worn on a guy
  10. well done mate! bet that's a big relief that after so long you can now get behind the wheel again i got a quote through NIG but it was for my zetec s when i had it, still was the cheapest out the lot thought lol
  11. i posted this on another tread as well it's mega helpful: this is from Toby at toy tuning: This is what we recommend for a good 200hp setup with brakes and chassis to match â?¢ Hybrid CT9 â?¢ Free Flow Mild Steel Manifold â?¢ Decat â?¢ Cat Back system 2.5inch The car is now expelling gases more efficiently. â?¢ Relocated Air Filter to front bumper â?¢ Heat Reflective tape for Inlet Track â?¢ Raise the Rear of the Bonnet with washers â?¢ Front Mounted Intercooler (wrap throttle body side pipes with heat reflective material) â?¢ U
  12. yeah i have have a poke around on tgtt quite alot as i have a sps decat so Dane is a top bloke and will most proberly end up with one of his race coated mainifolds when i get money to gether. i would get a zisco one as they look amazing but are a touch out my price range, unless a good second hand one pops up again and i have the money.
  13. i have one and yeah they are really nice, got a nice grumble on low revs and opens up on acceleration. think there are quite a few around so if you were trying to be a bit different you wouldn't, could go for something like a 5zigen pro racer- always liked the look of those, or apexi n1
  14. oo haven't looked on here in ages lol, no i'm not at 1bar yet unfortunately but don't want to rush and make a hash of it, it's annoying as i had a jam fcd and sard rrfpr but sold them both and am looking to get an emanage but now being back at uni i don't no whether i will ever be able to afford one so might buy these again just to get my car set up properly and make sure it is fueling ok until i can get an emanage Jules- yeah got fmic, everything but the manifold, i will get in touch soon about relocating my filter. but yeah realy need a manifold it's at the top of my list lol
  15. ^^^^ last picture hot as! lol bahamas photo's look amazing bet it was nice out there
  16. this is from Toby at toy tuning and i found it really helpful: This is what we recommend for a good 200hp setup with brakes and chassis to match â?¢ Hybrid CT9 â?¢ Free Flow Mild Steel Manifold â?¢ Decat â?¢ Cat Back system 2.5inch The car is now expelling gases more efficiently. â?¢ Relocated Air Filter to front bumper â?¢ Heat Reflective tape for Inlet Track â?¢ Raise the Rear of the Bonnet with washers â?¢ Front Mounted Intercooler (wrap throttle body side pipes with heat reflective material) â?¢ Uprated Thermostat â?¢
  17. i quite like those alloys, nice pics although a bit arty farty for my liking to many flowers
  18. well removing the hi/low function will make 1st nd 2nd boost with no restrictions, what gear did you hit fuel cut in?- i think the most common gear to hit it in is 2nd but cant be sure on that. you can fit the jam fcd no problem as it doesn't lean out the fuel mixture like the hks one does, but if you fitted it i would recommend getting a rrfpr at least then going to a rr and making sure it is fueling properly, you don't need a piggyback in the short term but if your upping the power a rrfpr wont be the most accurate or safest way to tune and fuel the engine but it will defiantly do the job y
  19. cheers mate, if you get rid of the air con nd relocate the filter to the front the engine is not to cramped to work on- the actuator wasn't to hard to fit just fiddly but felt better once fitted. got loads i want to do just run out of money , i'm a digital animation student so money doesn't come in, in particularly large amounts lol: mods to be done soon (i hope) going to get air con removed and front locate filter (very soon) get my turbo ported get a manifold ebc hope to get an emanage- then get it mapped, it should through out 180bhp then go hybrid eventually, port polish the head etc,
  20. if you have a full exhaust and air filter you can hit fuel cut, but i think you would no if you hit fuel cut- it's like a sudden jolt or judder like the car doesn't want to go any further then you come off the revs and it's ok again unless you then boost obviously to fuel cut. fuel cut doesn't go away, if the boost level is set high enough to hit it you always will until you lower it again.
  21. car is looking nice, i have a set of glanza 14" you could refurb and they would look awesome with the car slammed a little on them. and the paint code should be on the little metal plate at the back of the engine, it's in one of the pictures you have up
  22. its pretty simple really your car all ready has a bov its just a reserc, so basicaly you replace that one with a open venting one you have all the bits you need to fit a bov allready on the car, you may need a reducer but that should come with the bov you buy. bov can range price wise from £50-150 there are loads of second hand ones around, put a post in the wanted section.
  23. had a nice flick through your thred on tgtt a while ago and love this car, it look the tits!
