  1. heres one i took the other day, only had it a couple of months so this is one of the best pics i have at the moment:
  2. hey welcome to the site, good choice in a v mate lovely cars there's loads of info so have a poke around.
  3. right not much of an update but i got some 98 spec reflect lenses from Sam so i fitted them, then as it happened to be sunny i gave her a good bath and took a few quick snaps. new lenses and my personal favorite:
  4. not that i know of, the oil filter is a bit of a bugger to get to but the rest seems reasonably simple. questions need answering bud, I'm still learning loads! if you have questions or get stuck have a look in the tech sections has practically every answer and thread you could think of , i have learnt loads from there
  5. i wouldnt bother getting yellow stuff pads there a bit naff, i would get mintx ones. servicing wise toy tuning do a complete pack: http://www.toytuning.com/onlineshop/packagedeals/servicekita and only £60 which i think is a good deal, nd spark plugs just go for heat grade 6-7 would be fine.
  6. well modification wise: as it's a fresh import the garage should change the cambelt automatically, i would ask to make sure they have. as should it come with mot and tax. nd it all ready has alloys and a exhaust, so maybe suspension- uprated pads nd discs, bov- then you would start going into the engine mods- decat, manifold, rrfpr, fcd etc. but there is no rush to slap mods onto it, take care of it get used to it then decide what you want to do from there.
  7. could always just rent out a tow truck for the day nd get your bro to drive it up there nd back for you, then just throw the car on the back tie it down get it home then worry about insuring it. can't imagine it costing too much to rent one for the day
  8. think this needs to settle down a bit now, there's nothing you can do but repair the car, and Dave has been a really nice fellow and offered to help and i wish a lot more people were like this. blame could be cast around all day but there isn't any point as it isn't going to solve anything, it's a shame that the car isn't as you first thought but at least it is going to be all sorted and at least the car is not a right off in terms of structural support and you will still be able to dive it. just my thoughts.
  9. i started a thread a while ago when i was looking for one here is a link to a few in the general section: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....highlite=alarms i went for a Toad ai606 and it is so simple and hassle free but secures every section on the car!
  10. hhhmmm sounds like it could be a buddy club spec 2 exhaust? http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant...st/bc_spec2.jpg julesB on here has one, awesome exhaust if it is that!
  11. looks pretty neat mate glad you found one and black too!- my favorite colour of glanza, has this been on ebay? nd 3000 is a very good price insurance wise as long as you state it is a turbo you are fine, a lot of company's don't have a glanza on the system so it goes by a specific insurance group i think i remember mine was 14? but i can't really remember
  12. looks like a nice clean example you have there, i have white grids i think they look awesome, loving the white on white look.
  13. it says on my profile stuff dude hatfield, hertfordshire
  14. emanage has a built in fuel cut defender so you wont need one of those as well
  15. bout 0.7 full boost, standard full boost is 0.6 so not much difference
  16. will take about 5 minutes to fit! and on full boost let of quite a loud chirp sound
  17. yep got one on my v and i think they sound awesome, defenatly one of the best bov's on the market for the ep91
  18. really liked the yaris remember it being for sale on here, looked sweet! coilover wise most would recommend d2's as there are a reliable very good coilover, i just bought some apex gen2's off ebay which i think are perfect definitely not to harsh but hold the road amazingly try toy tuning or starletgtturbo.co.uk
  19. so glad i dont have to deal with that anymore! all i have to do is pass uni each year lol but it's ok because i got my grades ages ago so been through the whole sh#t hope i got the grades thing
  20. ok lol thanks for the help, i will just watch it nd hope it all lasts till i go hybrid eventualy
  21. ok thanks for the info i will keep an eye out nd have a poke around, there is a bit of oil around the bov exit but i didnt buy it new.
  22. i imagined it would smoke a little as it's burning of the excess bondo, oil etc but just worried that my turbo is going... so blue smoke nothing to worry about unless i am making a small fog patch behind me lol?
  23. My car has been fine but the other day i got my decat fitted and i was giving it a bit of a blast, i came up to a roundabout and as i slowed down a small cloud of white smoke came past me from behind my car so took it carefully till i got home then i noticed little wisps of blue smoke from my exhaust so i gave it a bit of a rev and there was blue smoke coming out as i reved it up high. i have been driving it really carefully since and it doesn't seem to happen, it only happened when the engine was warmed up and pushed a bit. so blue smoke from my experience means oil seals? or oil getting bu
  24. that interior is looking really good! i'v always liked the idea of trimming the centre console sections instead of going carbon (where the emanage is) , think i saw it on someones v on here?
  25. cheers mate, i got a friend of mine to fit it he works at a local garage, but he did say the lamba sensor was really long and had to kinda bend it into the decat, can't imagine it's to hard just make sure you have new gaskets and mine needed new bottom studs as there were rotten nd fu#kd
