  1. ill double check, but i have been over things like that already and everything as far as i can see is connected.. i really hope it is something silly like that! anyone shed any light why im getting error code 41?
  2. hi guys wondering if you can help, as although im handy with a set of spanners but my diagnostic skills are well non-existant. ive completed the conversion on my n/a and dropped a forged turbo lump in there. ive used glanza looms from an auto (and i have bridged the auto connection before you ask) now im trying to start to car and it just wont start. engine turns over freely, and then eventually starts to splutter after feathering the throttle. it keeps spluttering with the key turned fully using the starter to keep turning the engine. keeping the throttle open, it keeps it spluttering on what sounds like one or two cylinders and until i close the throttle in which it dies. has anyone experienced this before? i did a diagnostic test on it and it came up with code 41. 41 Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) No signal for 0.5 seconds or more at ignition ON. (VTA) ECU im certain i have done all the earths in the bay and im definitely getting fuel to the rail. so its got to be spark yes..? if anyone can shed some light i would be very appreciative cheers in advance sam

  9. @Trisk - get some pics of your mates gt on those wheels. im thinking about getting wheels with that spec and would love to see fitment
  10. well mine isnt easy like that. because its a piece of shit. that hates me. So this is the plug in comparison that comes up the drivers side on the 96 glanza loom. in comparison to the modified loom i have.. http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/snailsep911/media/0B5CE4DA-6FEC-4C13-AE6B-554ADA18284F-1495-000000C0D51EE392_zpsc32467fb.jpg.html'> As you can see the loom i have is a grey female plug, but the glanza loom is a white male plug. The problem is i still cant find a female plug on the dash loom to connect the 96 rear glanza loom :s couldsomeone with a stripped glanzashowmehow theresconnects up?? wouldbe really helpful. and then one other thing, ifichange to the 96rearloom, ill need to change the fittingtofitthefuelpump. so this is the fitting on my fuel pump and the modified loom i have http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/snailsep911/media/70F9ADDC-826C-438C-931D-96F9E5D60B1B-1495-000000C0E53A3CE7_zps9b8dee80.jpg.html'> http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/snailsep911/media/8EF2A02D-004E-41AD-9474-3B2BE773F5BF-1495-000000C0E102333A_zpsad45966b.jpg.html'> This is the fuel pump connection on the 96 standard glanza loom i have. http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/snailsep911/media/B1273D12-8DCA-4850-9765-9197303C7709-1495-000000C0DB3960DC_zpse7a66b72.jpg.html'> The wires are the same colour, can i just solder on the right connection to the 96 loom?
  11. i need a 96 glanza dash support bar that the column attaches too. also the cowl that sits around them. maybe a few interior pices too. anyone local that i can pick up these bits. please pm me looking for as cheap as possible too please.
  12. they will still fit fine though even with three bolts.
  13. have they been flow tested at all?
  14. also, bucketep91.. could you get a pic oif how the glanza loom connects to your fuel pump? the rear glanza loom has a white male plug but my fuel pump plug is completely different and i think im gonna need to rewire this plug to fit if possible.
  15. sorry?? could you explain.. lol
  16. i know... its such a pain. the plug that meets in the middle though connects to the wiring from the fuel pump though right? gonna have to swap looms over i can tell... but with the glanza rear loom that has the male connector coming up the drivers side, i still cant see where that connects too either?? :s so close to throwing in the towel with this thing. just did an oil change and the magnetic sump plug just sheared off in the sump. one thing after another
  17. hi mate found the one on back of inlet for fpr cheers ive got two nipples on the wastegate but none on the turbo. its a greddy td05 14b. isnt the map sensor the unit that sits on the firewall? top left as looking at the bay. if so thats not the one im talking about. ill remove boost solenoid/restrictor then also if i T off all three of one boost line will this cause an issue? thanks for your help!
  18. Ok got another one guys and this is a little more confusing... its the loom that comes along the drivers side floor from the rear lights i think. i cant find the plug that it connects to anywhere! this is the offender im talking about (grey plug) http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/snailsep911/media/7DA3C028-2442-43D5-AD32-89F793E97B88-885-000001149E5A7B86_zps541b0d44.jpg.html'> http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/snailsep911/media/FAFCDA0C-03FB-49E2-A843-7F3A4A74D08D-885-0000011499A12D2B_zps15c7a1da.jpg.html'> im running a 96 engine and interior dash loom. the rear loom is from a turbo converted n/a so it runs the rear light setup etc. but the issue i have is this rear loom fits my fuel pump connection and has a walbro wired in to fit. Its been removed of all the unneccesary wires etc but i just cant find where it connects to.. now i do have the standard 96 rear interior loom i could use, but again i have looked at the loom and the same wires that come through in the same place i cannot see where it connects to under the dash?! it is oddly a different connection to the plug i have in there now aswell. also changing to the rear 96 glanza loom also poses the problem the fuel pump connection will not fit so this will require rewiring in and i wouldnt have clue where to start with that lol anyone help lol if anyone hasnt noticed.. i hate wiring.and this car tbh sam
  19. sorted this now cheers
  20. they will physically fit, but will be for glanzas so revs and speed wont be accurate. paseo dials go to 7k redline wheras glanzas go up to 9 on the dial. paseo is 120mph wheras glanzas are 180kmh
  21. hi guys, need some help please, trying plumbing all my vacuum hoses and because things are far from standard im not entirely sure how to plumb them all in and whats the correct way, being my first turbo car and all. ive got a dump valve and external wastegate. ive removed all the A/C idle controls etc so that removes a lot of vacuum hoses. now im running emanage ultimate and blitz boost controller etc. am i right in saying i can just remove the boost solenoid that limits the boost in 1st and second gear (which has been by passed before to remove anyway)as this will be unnecessary? also theres another boost sensor in the bay at the front on the left hand side. is this necessary too and how do i plumb it in? also best place to T off for the boost guage and controller? any help would be really appreciated. cheers guys sam
  22. ive got one bud. pm me.
