you need to change the pins in the connecters but you can make it work. there used to be how to in the technical section here. i also have a set if you wanted to buy them lol

Just got one for a reasonable price and seeing as they spool up better than a td04 on starlet, I thought another 300cc on the mx5 would be similar. Seeing as they come from 2ltr foresters? Do you think it will be limiting on power? My mate is aiming for 220-250hp

yeah been looking on ebay hinking id find a load around that price range and really havent found much at all. may have found a tf035 for reasonable price but no luck on any other fronts for one in good condition! @jacob - how much mate? is it brand new?

Yeah that's what I thought, need to order a compression tester and see if that throws up anything. Just hoping it's just that so when I get valve stem seals done I can solve it.. And it doesn't need a full rebuild :/

I've got an issue with a forged engine I bought a while back. I bought the engine being told it needed valve stem seals as it was burning oil (in what looked like cylinders 1 and 2 as the ports were slightly oily). It's only done 2000 miles since rebuild and from lifting the cam cover I believe this as it's brand new inside. Now I filled it with fresh oil and got it running. I've ran it a few times and literally moved the car in and out of the garage a few times but only really warmed it up to temperature once in which it was incredibly smoky and stank of burning oil. Now I dropped the oil the other day as there were a few oil leaks which I needed to stop. And it looks like this.. All milky. But nothing under oil cap or anything. So my question is can valve stem seals cause this? Or is this a bigger issue? I'm gonna have to change headgasket to do valve stem seals anyway but wanna know it's not a bigger problem.. Is this coolant getting in the oil? Anyone had this before? The engine was sat for about 18 months in my garage in the car so I don't know if it was condensation inside engine.. I don't know again if that could cause this. If anyone could help that would be great Thanks Sam

Looking for a good working condition pref Lowe mileage td04/05 vf series or tf035 turbo for a friend who's looking to turbo his mx5. Also if anyone has any input as to a good turbo they would/have used when turboing an mx5 that would be really helpful. I know it's the wrong forum but struggling to find decent turbos at sensible prices!

Does it come with gaskets? I've got a pretty much identical kit aswell and it's gasket less. Just wondering if it used gaskets or not and if it did if yu knew where to get any? Glws by the way Lovely kit!
