well i hada corrola inlet and apexi filter, and then put pacesetter 4-1 exhaust on with a full 2" system which was custom made by me, and the apexi backbox was blowing quite a lot, and despite this and being rediculously loud it made it remarkedly quicker and because of this extra power made my clutch start to slip. was very quick little car with this, especially top end. was best thing i did on my starlet when it was n/a. if i was to do it again id get a propert 2" mid section custom made properly (because mine knocked and leaked) and have asilencer put it in and youd be laughing! also that

also i can understand the appeal of the rs but seriously 27 grand. whatever. give me a supercharged 350 anyday, or a well specced skyline, or yer an s3/s4 big turbo bobs your uncle. so many cars you could have which would absolutely destroy an rs for much less money. plus you get to say you drive an audi ratther than a ford..

i have a 99 starlet s, which ive stripped and converting to full glanza running gear. i have full 96 spec looms and need help. was wondering if i can strip any unnecessary wires from the loom but have no idea where to start. anyone done this and can help me to know where to start. from engine and interior loom. also will it matter the fact they are 96 spec and mines early 99 n/a?? i will have no airbags, no aircon, no power steering etc. also im gonna fit the stalks from the glanza as have read this need doing also but has different mounting points on the n/a rack. anyone help please lol.

ive done it. was like wtf when i looked at the diagrams. but when yu have it infront of yu its not too bad trickiest part is removing wires because its well fiddly but its defo achievable. i ended up getting an earth wrong i think but everything still lit up propery except when i had lights and fog lights on and then used indicators. was quite funny they all blinked oddly on the cluster looked like a night club was quite cool actually haha. seriously i did it on a saturday and took me most of the day because i wanted to get it right but in the end was fine. and at the time i had very very lit

Hi guys could do with some input.. I have a 96 auto 4efte in need if a rebuild. oil pump went on it and been sat for a year. now ive never done an engine rebuild, would love to learn but how much are we looking to do a full standard rebuild. i cant afford forged atm so no point considering really. also if i could get hold of 5efhe pistons id love to do a 5e build.. but again anyone know of costs, like gaskets, pumps etc. tried a search but didnt give me much. then the other option is do i just buy a secondhand 4efte, but problem is ensuring condition, where to get and also cost.. help lo

Hi just wondering what everyone does regarding side exit exhausts and MOTs etc. its gona be mated to a tdo5 so chucking a cat wont really be an option unless when i get it made have a removable cat or summin i it fits maybe.. any one know anything on this. help please got some decisions to make. cheers sam

mate, as much as chopping up a bride rail would be criminal, it looks like your only option. Most garages with a decent welder and angle grinder would be able to do it for pretty cheap. And seriously who cares if thats a a fake or not. That seat is frekkin awesome. was it second hand? can u let me know where u got it from because i need them in my ep. very much. sam

Hi guys never had any experience with painting but am very practical and learn by doing so.. asking parents to buy me a spray gun, spray guns. but have no idea what im looking atm, whats the best ones, types etc.. Any tips will be real helpful, got a big compressor. want to start doing bumpers, wheels etc then move once ive practiced enough to eventually doing my starlet later in the future. any help appreciated cheers sam

i was never a fan of the bodykit or the wheels but always liked it for being a bit different, but the wheels, headlight vent makes everything work so bloody well. this is now by far my favourite starlet on here and i really like the bodykit now aswell. two questions where are the wheels from and how much i need them in my life lol. also how did you go about doing the headlight vent because ive also been contemplating this idea for a while. amazing build mate get more pics lol cheers sam
