  1. cheers guys. Thats what im doing atm is using a 96 loom, engine and interior, just on the engine loom the plugs that go the lights are the same type of plug just opposit fittings to whats on the car if that makes sense (i can upload picsif need be). also on the loom there are two entry points into the car, and on my ep91 starlet s there is only one hole that the loom went through. i can see a circular space which would make sense but im assuming i need to drill through. anyone got a pic of a glanza engine bay looking at the firewall showing the loom going back into the cabin? sorry for all the questions cheers guys sam

  4. ill hold you to that ride buddy. havent been to any meets yet but will be doing so when my starly is back on oad. couldnt be doing so in my caddy van lol. how much the machine wok on head cost if you dont mind me asking. really want some work done but dollar is tight atm. and more other things i wanna buy lol. also you still selling that custom inlet? am very tempted. cheers
  5. Hi guys need some help now please?! i have an early 99 n/a which ive stripped and converting to turbo. now i had a 96 black auto glanza which i stripped and am using the full wiring from that in this. now engine was fubarred in the glanza, so have one coming but is from a gt. Ive just started putting the 96 loom in and already the connections for the headlights dont match up, and the mounting of the main fuses is slightly different. What i would love to have some help on (and ive tried all kinds of searches) is what my options are and the best way to do so. 1. stick with 96 loom and possibly resolder connections to suit engine and headlights etc. if i need to do so any one shed any light on what ones need addressing? 2. get a 98/99 glanza loom to match my 99 shell maybe.. but then id still need to match the sensors on engine to loom. does any one know the differences? 3. go with a gt engine loom and my n/a interior loom? heard of this done but ive never dealt with wires oncars and would be a challenge although im willing to try. this whole prject has been learning by doing but i wana get this right and be driving very soon. so help would be really appreciated especially now a few more of yu guys are doing conversions, if any of the above makes sense cheers sam
  6. very jealous. this was my plan aswell if i manage to source a good 5efe/5efhe. will be really interesting to know how u get on as this is what im planning on now, td05 with 5efhte. good luck and hope it works this time! absolutely love this build is a true inspiration to try new things. more people need to do builds on starlets like this instead of the norm. sam.
  7. So true ^^
  8. As above. he was only asking for opinions and a bit of help. my opinion would be save up and get springs. i even have two sets of front lowering springs. you can have either cheap. had em a while surface rust etc but they were great when i used em. theyll both come with kyb excel g dampers aswell. £40 + delivery or free pickup. pm me if interested. im in biggin hill, kent. Id just like to point out micra in banzai i think couple of months back...chopped springs in the back and NO springs on front just welded together, and he got a mag feature. im by no means saying its the way to go and id never do it to mine but sometimes there are other ways to go about things and if no one asks they wont know. id personally like to see a few people try some different routes with starlets as everyone seems to be doing the same atm. everyones entitled to an opinion but the lad was asking for help and i think the advice could be a little more constructive. just my 2p
  9. i hate you. thats two things youve stolen from my watch list!exhaust and fmic!! lol. honestly great work guys cant wait to see this done. My conversion is taking a lot longer tha yours wish my friends actually knew what they were doing when it comes to cars. Hope everything goes well! one question what are you doing about the mounting point on the steering column as the glanza stalks use different mounting points. thats if your using glanza wiring looms? can you take as many pics as you can when installing it just to help others like myself doing the conversion thankyou please! cheers sam
  10. haha quality! few years ago they did a show in caterham building the 7's which is like 10 mins from me. wish id known bout it at the time!

  13. wow. this is honestly amazing. i wish i had the time/money/knowledge/patience to do something like this. this is gonna be epic when done. is it gonna be road legal at the end or just purely for events? eitherway is awesome. love those 3spokes yu had on it at first!
  14. sorry for late reply but cheers guys im gonna give him a call. ollie ryan ill pm you once i go ahead with whoever i do and let yopu know as i should be doing this over next two months. also anyone know how hard it would be to cut the middle vents of the dash out and fibreglass in 3 gauge holders. seen it done before might of been on tgt but cant find it. if anyones got a pic, advice, guidance or know anyone who can do this would be really helpful. cheers guys sam
  15. i have a second hand one you could buy off me if you like. perfect working condition comes with fan etc. few bent fins as expected. £40 + delivery. pm me if interested. cheers sam
  16. anything with 4 x 100 pcd fitment. civics, micras etc etc.
  17. well i hada corrola inlet and apexi filter, and then put pacesetter 4-1 exhaust on with a full 2" system which was custom made by me, and the apexi backbox was blowing quite a lot, and despite this and being rediculously loud it made it remarkedly quicker and because of this extra power made my clutch start to slip. was very quick little car with this, especially top end. was best thing i did on my starlet when it was n/a. if i was to do it again id get a propert 2" mid section custom made properly (because mine knocked and leaked) and have asilencer put it in and youd be laughing! also that will be for sale soon
  18. also i can understand the appeal of the rs but seriously 27 grand. whatever. give me a supercharged 350 anyday, or a well specced skyline, or yer an s3/s4 big turbo bobs your uncle. so many cars you could have which would absolutely destroy an rs for much less money. plus you get to say you drive an audi ratther than a ford..
  19. ^^ i try.. haha.
  20. what!!!^^^^^ mate what a lucky fucker. wish my dad would fall down some stairs at work and buy me an s3...
  21. hi guys anyone know of pplaces that will flock dashboards and such near the croydon area? i live in biggin hill which is border between kent and surrey. if anyone knows anywhere would be great also idea of prices etc. cheers sam
  22. i have a 99 starlet s, which ive stripped and converting to full glanza running gear. i have full 96 spec looms and need help. was wondering if i can strip any unnecessary wires from the loom but have no idea where to start. anyone done this and can help me to know where to start. from engine and interior loom. also will it matter the fact they are 96 spec and mines early 99 n/a?? i will have no airbags, no aircon, no power steering etc. also im gonna fit the stalks from the glanza as have read this need doing also but has different mounting points on the n/a rack. anyone help please lol. all input appreciated, cheers sam
  23. lol at them tyres. glad yu werent caught with em like that coppers would have had a field day! wondering if yu could do me a favour tho and get some better pics of the wheel fitment when u can, like how they look close up and how much they stick out as i have these same wheels and might sell and get some et25 ones. be a bit easier on the old arches lol. also more updates man this car is luvverly! cheers sam
  24. amazing help and service. answered any questions i had and delivery was brilliant. and the meisters are awesome ;) cheers mate. would happily buy from you again and most likely will
  25. ive done it. was like wtf when i looked at the diagrams. but when yu have it infront of yu its not too bad trickiest part is removing wires because its well fiddly but its defo achievable. i ended up getting an earth wrong i think but everything still lit up propery except when i had lights and fog lights on and then used indicators. was quite funny they all blinked oddly on the cluster looked like a night club was quite cool actually haha. seriously i did it on a saturday and took me most of the day because i wanted to get it right but in the end was fine. and at the time i had very very little mechanical experience. yu learn by doing it thats how i did it so if i was yu id give it a go and save urself some mahoney. cheers sam
