  1. how would i test that? another note when the immobiliser is deactviated the heaters blow which they don't when the car is immobilised. Also i have tried bridging the 2 points on the diagnostics connector to get the engine light to flash and the engine light did nothing at all.
  2. went to start my ep82 just now and noticed when turning the key after the immobiliser has been deactivated the engine light doesn't light up, which it should, so when trying to start it just turns over but doesn't fire. deactivating the immobiliser i can hear a small click of it deactivating (as normal) and the immobiliser light goes out (normal) but the engine light should come on at that point along with the other 3 lights in the dash (oil etc.) Any ideas why this would be?? really stuck where to look? I have checked fuses and all ok. car started as normal yesterday thanks for any help!
  3. Thats what i wanted to hear I was thinking it wouldn't but just wanted to check lol! Thanks for a quick answer, great help!
  4. This might seem a silly question to some people but i'm not sure and can't seem to find an answer. I'm looking at getting one of Dean@RW Developments custom catch cans which would sit at the back of the engine bay next to the strut, the issue I have is that currently my fuel pressure regulator sits on a bracket exactly where the catch can would sit. Basically I want to move the fpr to the other side of the engine bay out the way, this would also give me a chance to change the pipes as they look like they could do with a change. My question is that if i change the pipes they're going to be different lengths to what they are now due to it sitting in a different place. Will this affect the setup at all or will it make no difference at all and run exactly like it does now? The car was setup by Dave Burwash a few years back and i'm unsure how this part would be affected if at all, so just want to make sure i'm not going to cause myself other issues along the line, any help greatly appreciated!

  15. Saw a Black GT on the M5 southbound this afternoon, looked smart Saw it around droitwich then caught me up again at worcester when that nice gritter appeared infront, I didn't fancy getting too close to that!
  16. I've had my GT 6 years and always run T1R's on it and never had an issue with them, also run rainsport 2 on my type R and never had an issue with them, you won't go wrong with any of the above i doubt, just stay well away from the really cheap brands. There is also a new tyre rating system thats come into force this year, a mate of mine is a tyre fitter and was telling me about it, rates things like wet grip/braking distances and noise levels etc rather than just having a speed rating on them. Have a look into that to see what you can find. Also when I was looking for tyres for the type R I found this site useful http://www.tyrerevie...ivic-Type-R.htm It has reviews from people who have used the tyres on that car and has lots of ratings for different things like dry grip/wet grip/wear etc. might not have starlets on there, not sure haven't checked but it is worth a look if you have a few mins as lets you know what to stay well clear of and what ones are decent. Edit: Just found GT and Glanza on there, not many reviews yet though so check the civic link above to get an idea of what i mean a bit better as lots of reviews on there. http://www.tyrerevie...et-GT-Turbo.htm http://www.tyrerevie...et-Glanza-V.htm

Not sure if he has any other bits to sell but if he finds anything else hiding in the cupboard he might lol! Very honest about the condition of the turbo kit I bought off him and did me a good deal. Decent honest lad so thanks to him really more than anything for an easy purchase! Made travelling worth while!
  21. theres an Integra round my way that has amber number plate lights and has done for serveral years, so guess you'll probably be alright with them as traffic round here are a bit strick as they dont have alot else to do due to no motorways or many big roads

  23. Weather around Hereford was mad today, One minute really sunny and hot, the next it would hammer down with rain, then sunny again within minutes, also had huge hail stones for a bit at one point. Anyway I'd just walked back into work after grabbing some lunch and was talking to my boss when there was a huge flash and MASSIVE rumble of thunder, it literally shook the building! Turns out the lightning struck a block of flats a little way down the road!
  24. it goes up every year by a fiver, was £110 when i first got mine for 12 months, cost me £130 last time and as you say will be £135 next time :rtfm: still cheaper than anything else thats as quick
