Regardless of having an MOT or not, if a car is unroadworthy, its unroadworthy. An MOT is simply a way to monitor this, so VOSA don't have to ban vehicles individually like that. I guess if its been fixed (and he lists new parts) then it's fine now. Unless it was damaged in an accident (twisted/broken chassis legs or similar) then I'd hold fire on calling him a scammer. Looks a cool truck though, I'd like a Hilux. Dave
