  1. Obivously accident damanged I'd like to believe TurboDave didn't know, I've always known him to be a good seller, but who knows. Sorry to hear this about your new car though mate Dave
  2. Exceptional example from the looks of it Love the wheels.
  3. I use Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, and occasionally some color magic (black) to hide anything thats less than 100% perfect (stonechip touch ups etc) Dave
  4. Did no one click View Picture lol? Dave
  5. And if you don't be safe in the knowledge that karma is going to really going to fuck their shit up! Absolutely ubelievable ;) Scum.
  6. You could, but the increased boost and the change in the setting of the bcc would require the AFR's to be checked surely?
  7. He was born like that, don't take it to heart Sonds like a nice car mate, get some pics up! Dave
  8. I think you've hit the nail on the head, I for one would give it everything I've got... No messing about. If someone forces their way into my home, I think it should be legal to use as much force as I can. They shouldn't be there, and had they not been breaking the law, they would have been fine ;) I'd fully expect a kicking, deservedly, should I break into someones home as they sleep, or otherwise. I know what you mean, but I also think this is from a 'good' point of view (they'll on re-commit the crime, to someone else), and I don't feel people who commit intrusive crimes (burglary/car
  9. I never know that Toby! Cracking price Geo mate, Can't believe these haven't been snapped up either, everything seems pretty slow these days Dave
  10. To contrast... I think they'd rock and would LOVE to see that glanza with them Dave
  11. Its TurboDave off tgtt thats selling it too afaik Nice Glanza for the money
  12. Excellent post, I've seen this mentioned and wondered exactly how people expect this to be done Dave
  13. For a Hybrid, I'm sure the stock ECU is good (a fuel pressure regulator is perfectly fine) Manifold isn't a must, although it'll help. A Hybrid will bolt straight onto a CT9 mani Decat isn't needed either. Injectors won't be needed until upwards of ~220bhp, about the max the average Hybrid will deliver safely Suspension would be good brakes would be good Irridium plugs would be good Uprated HT leads would be good FMIC wouldn't be needed Probably a relocated air filter too, although its optional tbh All you *really* need is the turbo, and the fueling sorted. It'll be perfectly safe at that if
  14. ^That man knows his stuff. I'd take that as fact personally. Plus, the JAM guidelines state this (albeit in a different way)
  15. My understanding of the fuel pump is that an uprated one will just keep the fuel return line more busy if its been the only change... Also, It would depend what the ECU was mapped for surely, as I've the aftermarket ECU's aren't and 'Off the shelf' units. Either way, I'd stick with what they recommend, personally. Plus, if it isn't needed, why bother uprating it? Dave
  16. Talk about baptism by fire... First real runs on the ring eh? I like your spirit (pardon the pun!) Cracking little car, I can't wait for the track photo's and videos! Dave
  17. Lol, he's (ecksjay I mean!) like UKSC's equivalent to TGTT's CaL lol. Nice car NightSpirit, its awesome to put it simply! Dave
  18. It goes between the two front wisbones (may not be the correct term lol), basically underneath the front of the car, under the exhaust like this: Alongside a rear strut brace and a good suspension (springs and/or shocks) setup, it'll provide a very positive handling improvement Dave
  19. Its like... £2.42 per litre, and that was last year! On the plus side, it has < 0.1% benzene in it, so its the only fuel that isn't carcinogenic... But for £2.42 I'd take my chances! Please don't tell me you use morrison's fuel in your car? Oh and I work for Tesco, and the Tesco fuels use somethign ridiculous like 30% of the detergents normal fuel uses (same goes for sainsbury's, morrisons, etc), its balls ;) Thank fook my site gets esso fuel, the 97 stuff of that is good. I always stick to V-Power though, no comparison Morrisons petrol *shakes head* Dave
  20. No bother, I though maybe it was a home made one with some bad bends in it or something If its autobahn it'll be fine. Probably an actuator problem, I'd get an adjustable one and work from there Dave
  21. Certianly does mean low boost mate, unless its a pressure drop due to the FMIC though, what brand is it? With those mods, I'd get an adjustable actuator/boost controller and aim for around 10psi, if it creeps (and it shouldn't if its ported) then I'd restrict the intake (duct tape its surface up, mibbe leave around 25% of it to breathe through and take it from there). No bother Dave
  22. Hey, If he has a HKS actuator, then almost certainly that is what is upping his boost levels. Your (assumably) Glanza engine will have a boost restrictor (~6psi) in 1st and 2nd, you can bypass this with ease and get stock boost (8-9psi) in all gears, instead of 3 onwards only. As for upping the boost, Most people aim for about 10-11psi, although 12psi is also doable and safe on standard ecu. Fuel cut occurs when the map sensors sends ~4.15V to the ECU, which varies in boost pressure from car to car, but its usually at around about 0.85 bar (12.2 or so psi) Don't forget that you're car will
