  10. well i have just fitted 2 recaro fishnets and this is the best way i have found! i got these uni runners off ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-SUBFRAMES-...1742.m153.l1262 they required 1 extra hole drilled then bolted straight to seat and welded some feet to them and bolted them in they sit very nice and low perfect for me and im quite a wee lad! and are fully adjustable! hope this helps!! matt
  11. Nice little update! picked these up yesterday!! what ya think??
  12. Another small update fitted these tonight they made a nice difference made the gear lever feel much sharper! jus a pain in the ass to fit due to close tolorence fit, would suggest putting them in freezer for couple of hours and maybe heating the hoops they fit in to make it easier for anyone else wanting to fit them!

  16. been on this site long enough so thort bout time started a build thread!! had the v now for a couple of years got it as a fresh import took it for a test drive and fell in love!! so i put down the deposit but had to wait a week or so for it the be registered have a vosa check and mot and all that! after the wait that seemed like months i picked her up, paid the rest and off i went!! had no problems since that day and its only my second car since i passes at 17 and im now 22! got fairly big plans for her but that will all come in time!! when i got the v it was completly standard spec had nothin
  17. yer any half decent garage should have a full tap set and heli coil set! well if u can get to it where it is then no prob! depends on access, needs to be fairly good! no prob mate what the sites all bout!! ;)
  18. basically it re cuts a thread to the inside portion of a hole they come in all sizes and pitches! a heli coil is a thread repair, u use a tap to start with and a threaded insert goes in allowing u to restore orignal thread size without oversizing, if needed!
  19. u can re tap the threads or even do a heli coil insert and it will still be the same size! is it in the turbo housing threads stripped??
  20. Anyone down south ( portsmouth, southamption etc) fancy arranging a meet some time!??
  21. quick list remove top mount intercooler if you still got one its got 4 mount bolts and 1 bonding wire and the 2 hose clamps. then just pull leads out of the tubes and you will see the top of the plugs use plug socket to remove plugs. re fit new plugs not too sure on torque figure was a wile since i fitted mine. replace leads making sure they 'click' into place on top of the plug. and re fit topmount replacing 4 mount bolts 1 bonding wire and both hose connections. when your happy start her up making sure she runs smooth no missfire or excessive vibration and check there is no leaking ar
  22. now jus got to get the fu#*er out lol wen u do let me know how!
  23. its screwed in the block at the front behind the downpipe with a wire connector on it!
