you need to get one orders asap bro, it`s ment to be there for a reason (which i dont know) mabe to have a better seal as the two metal parts may be uneven....whatever. i also wonder that my guess was that when building the engines at toyota they used the same MAP in both engines so rather than waste piping etc they could add the long or small piece of pipe to the circle adapter?

That autoglym stuff costs around £7 (1lt) form halfrauds.....i got the 3 in 1 citrus cleaner from halfrauds as recomended set me back £4.50.....really foamy lol i thought i`d try one on the shelf lmao went every where and this oap man was like......"youth of today" ;)

its to do with the radiator water pressure....i.e. if you mod the car etc n at high speeds lots of water pressure builds up and the std cap may not be able handle it n burst.....i think??

yes they do but u will have to bend over and take it dry.....i think its about £200

then your sorted mate......clean it up n paint it etc if you want before u put it on n your away!

in my old one yes.....a word of advice make sure u put all the pipes back in to where they belong.....if the map sensor one doesnt fit take it off the braket fit it n get the proper pipe asap! learnt my lesson! also if your mani dint com with a rubber gromet which holds to cable in place dont fit the mani till you sort out some sort of bracket

i think there is a bit of confusion here im talking about the black plate (blue cross) next to radiator not the rolla manifold circled in yellow......

yes! it was the map sensor pipe i took it off the braket and just attached it is a temporary measure till i go to the scrappy and get the proper one...kinda sorted the idle and earthing problem too.......guess it will have to do till i get time off work. as for the gasket i didn`t fit a new one but i assume it only costs a few pounds replace it if it makes u feel better...
