i dont think anyone on here has either of them two mods...thats why i decided on them but now i dont knw....anyone on here actualy ever used there fog lights? what does the blitz one look like?

there`s two mods which im really undecided about 1) K&N apollo intake.....the car is my daily driver till i start uni it will be used to commute back n forth bradford every friday night/whenever and anywhere else i want to go. 2) fog lights.....tbh this was a random idea and a costly one at £130...if i decided to go 4 it (also if toyota can get em in) what you guys think??? lowering is a defo and so is a tte backbox.

tbh mate the shaking isnt BAD but quite small and v noticable. what i propose to do is clean the throttle body when i replaced the mani it looked dirty but i dint have time to clean it. check spark plugs tighten them or loosen them which ever is appropriate, and look at the colour (would tell me alot if something was wrong) replace the fuel filter with a genuine one (eliminates the filter if it continues to shake) and hope for the best....

same here ive been doing that since i was about 11. worked on many cars while growing up had none complain because of overtightened spark plugs when they come back for other work

erm ok......what makes u think it is solely the spark plugs?

they are new only done a few hundred miles...ill chek if they are tight etc tho

is that the "disc" thing inside the throttle body?

wow now that is diiiiirty....let it cool wet it shake the 3 in 1 for ages spray let it sit get a hard bristle brush rub the shit out of it wash off! redo it if you need too.

yup the 3 in 1.....foams alot which is good just make sure u use a hard bristle brush and work it in everywhere. im planning on doing it again further down the line tho as i may run the risk of damaging something if i do it 3x in a row? p.s you can see how dirty it was by observing the shit ridden water that pools up under the engine.

it had oil (10w 40), oil filter,air filter, plugs, clutch, timming belt at the same time...me n my dad did it. as for the battery and altnator...the main symtom would be not starting but it starts first time all the time. again my suspision falls on fuel filter or injectors.

hey had my starlet since may....when i got it it used to shake alot when left idling e.g. at the lights not really full on shaking but noticeable little movements the shaking went with the engine beat...the needle is always moving not at one point like all/most cars. after two bottles of redex improved alot...but it still shakes and the needles still doesn`t sit still always ossilating aroung 750-1000 rpm. my suspision is the fuel filter as i dont think it has ever been changed..has service history to an extent then was serviced by the same garage for the next 5-6yrs...the fuel filter looks new and genuine....lambda has been replaced fuel economy isnt the best on the car either (i have put on the corolla mani if it helps)..starts first time without fail in the morning tho. i am puzzled dont know where to begin.

lol same reason ive put the fog lights on hold.....but truthfully i`d keep the ep if you do put it up for sale you will just get pm`s for the parts off it...its been built to your taste im not sure if anybody will be willing to give you money for the attention to detail, effort and long endurance youv`e put in to it....2-3yrs now? and you wanna sell it for boost?? worth it?

im not converting it into a glanza....thats exactly what ive done. name one 5dr EP91 with speedlines,corolla mani, clear side repeaters,indicators,sub,amp, semi-stelth parcel shelf??? soon to be remus/tte back box, k&n apollo induction kit, lowered an inch and possible tte spolier if the photoshop proves to be a sucess.......the bond thing is great since ive got it i`ve spent more money on it that i have on myself!

i cant tbh its my car for the next few years so i myt aswell make it how i want it kinda thing....but by all means if i had finished uni i would have a glanza on the drive...save alot of hastle but i`ve bought it, driven it n i like it alot...wouldnt change it for the world. its my first car man i cant just do away with it i have a bond with it......

right i did myn today (did extra hr at wrk y-day so i wnt hme hr early get in there!!) the pics (before) (during) (after) i dint have a hard bristle brush when i did it but i think the rocker cover needs alot of attention as its got loads of backed on oil

you dont "need" it you "want" it......why not hang on to the EP91 and whack a 4EFTE in later down the line? much more intersting than buying a car that doesn`t need much doing to it......what else can you do to the EP92? except change body panels, alloys, interior + exterior design. the engine every1 wants is already in there too not much of an adventure there tbh....what im doing is keeping the EP91 and when the engine conks out dropping in a 4EFTE......its at 71k now.

there was a remus one for sale on here.....i think he means that? or there was a tte one on ebay???
