  2. Lol thats class!! of all the places ive seen a EP parked POTM!!
  3. RIP.....condolences to his family and friends breaks the heart when hearing such news hope your ok mate
  4. Tbh it's all about the capabilities of your mapper and the management you choose it's been said and discussed before a guy from australia got 200bhp frm a 4efe using a td04? Just goes to show it doesn't have to be forged allthough the engine was pulled apart after abit most people tend to go for the cheaper scat rods which are apparantly heavy in weight compared to other rods n wiesco pistons again the cheapest forged pistons around
  5. would be mint if you turboed the N/A but up to you brother......i know what im doing
  6. Lol im sure the happy owner will post up with there new bargain
  7. A quick read around and it seems as if you...... work outside (its like that stuff in the loft really itchy apparantly) soak it in water as your applying helps it curve around the pipe pull it tight as your applying put the clamps on let it fully dry before installing spray it with high temp paint BAM!
  8. hope so just cant find the right engine to begin
  9. Ahhh i wondered where the build thread for this beasty was looks pretty impressive matey defo inspiration for us N/A owners
  10. i read somewhere on the forum its best to soak it in water or something because it frays? im sure if you search around youll find what i mean
  11. ermm double post yeah make sure its a clean surface etc before you put the wrap on and soak in water (something of the sort)
  12. Thats what people use the metal straps not seen annything better
  13. do you have braided lines? what fluid do you have? 5.1 fluid BMCs fresh pads + discs ive noticed nearly all GT/Vs ruin the rear discs like you have described and have a rim of rust with a bit of even wear in the middle
  14. think the standard glanza one is the same as the N/A but with a better looking tip
  15. when did you buy it? how did you pay? tbh ive never seen your username or that zoro dude pop up before you from tgtt??
  16. i wouldnt pay £100 for it about £30-40 seems right for something that might last a couple of months most sellers dont even show a pic of the back where the pipe comes into it which as above is the main bit. could try a TRD one off a glanza bit rare tho......N/A-glanza have the same hangers the GT has different hangers can be modded to fit either way
  17. how comes you havent got a rad overflow bottle from a ABS GT? it would look much nicer
  18. tbh i just throw it about and abuse it nearli all the time.....so duno? im moding whatever i can to keep it clean/cheap and squeeze as much power as i can out of it oh i also replaced the front gearbox mount to a genuine one i picked up for much cheapness...its given the car a nice racey interior vibration it doesnt seem to get stuck going into first although its done it once since fitting (will monitor this) the old mount seemed to have dropped by 2cm or so when i compared it to the old one (sorry no pics) the car pulls nicely off the lights im confident poly mounts would change the feel of the car its just if one can cope with the vibrations
  19. its just finding the right sized container now, plenty of rooms now the charcoal cannister is out i should have the ALK fitted tomorrow after ~2years of it sitting in the garage LOL took a pic of the catch jar
  20. cheers matey
  21. How did you get the pillar pod to stay put? mine keeps falling off
  22. Oops...I'll have to check mine going to refesh the rear setup in my na so a full flush is on the cards really don't rate the ultimax pads from EBC either what's the bedding in period for them?
  23. The gt? Most people get a friend to do it, ask your local garage say your willing to go down with em lol use your AA membership
  24. It's best to use the crystal headlights the standard na ones have a pattern on them, for the projector you need a clear headlight so glanza + jdm crysal headlights are ideal you can get a projector kit off eBay or another car it's just the fitting and getting the beam part right which is hard. There's a few threads on the net of people who've retro fitted them
