Just a few tips i removed the PS fluid bottle from the bracket (didn`t drain it, it unclips) and took a few other bits off like the dipstick and rotated the other bracket round to make it easy......not sure what its like for the glanza owners with the ABS i also got some 600grit? paper and smoothed the face of BMC down as there are casting marks on it meaning there wasnt full contact with the little round thing (making it kinda pointless really)......do it gently so its smooth enough people dont go crazy i also put that ^ pipe ont

The hose circled goes to the fuel pressure regulator? leads to roughly the same place on the corolla mani if you look around the area you will see where it goes...if left disconnected engine noise changes. For the MAP hose it MUST be connected (really really poor running if left disconected).....for the time being unbolt it and connect it, any hose of the same diameter will do just go round the scrappys looking at toyotas youll defo find one long enough.

Sorted the timing out (10 mark) can still hear slight pinging at WOT in 2nd+....any advice on what else to do? spark plugs are new, done about 500 miles (could the driving around when the pinging was louder cause them to go bad?) new dizzy and arm will be on soon expensive in the long run....but use better fuel such as V or super? it did throw error code 14 i cleaned the dizzy and all of the tb and reset it, fingers crossed it doesn`t come back In light of recent events i`d advise ALL n/a owners to stay away from advancing/retarding the timing. It is an easy "mod" but it can also easily
