    Starlet GT EP82

Thanks for the offer, but it's an EP82 I'd like. Needs to have an engine and stuff too

    Sure.. It's brilliant.
  3. Is this still for sale? Sent you a PM but haven't had a response so perhaps someone else might know.

Cheers, I had a Starlet GT about 10 years ago, I'm calling this my 1/3 life crises!

As some of you already know from a few posts I've made here, I'm looking to go racing next year and want to use a little EP82 to do so. I can't wait to get started with the build, my last track car was a Pulsar GTiR, it was brilliant and I'd be racing that, but it was stolen and written off before I could. I carried out the majority of the work on the GTiR myself, so expect lots of questions about where this bit goes, or what does this wire do in the coming months My daily drive is an E46 M3 which will probably need to be sold for me to buy a tow car for the Starlet which is a sh
  6. Key phrase here .. "could be". Until you remove the gearbox you will never know for sure. Shit happens my man, TD have offered to look at it for you, if "you" don't trust their judgement then surely your warranty is useless anyway? Sprouting nonsense on the internet is not going to solve your problem, pick up the phone, pay them a visit and get the car sorted.

    Starlet GT EP82

Not particularly, it's condition just needs to represent it's value. I intend to TD04 it, fit coilovers and stuff so if it has those things fitted then I'd be willing to pay more. Really, if you are thinking of selling your EP82 then just get in touch.

    Starlet GT EP82

Still on the look out, willing to increase budget for the right car.
  9. Went and had a look this morning, seems to go ok, but for the money he's after it's a bit rough.
  10. Some of the prices he has stated are a little questionable, but it's fairly local to me, so have arranged to go and have a look tomorrow.

    Starlet GT EP82

Still on the look out, the cheaper ones seem to get snapped up in hours! I remember when I bought my last one 10 years ago (feck me i'm old) the market was flooded!
  14. What's left of this? What's the damage like, would you consider selling it as a whole?
  15. Looks like this sold before I could go look, ah well, on to the next one.

    Starlet GT EP82

I'm looking for a EP82, it wants to be fairly standard and straight. The car will be transformed into a race car over the winter so state of bodywork, or it requiring the odd bit here and there to get it serviceable don't worry me too much, nor does it having any tax or MOT as it will likely be trailered away. Budget is around £2k, I know this wont buy me a mint one, but that's not what I want. Let me know what you have, cash is waiting for the right car.
  17. Will hopefully be going for a nosey at this at the weekend, will report back. Good spot at the crash damage.
  18. Interested to hear how that was registered! Must be a very rare car over there.
  19. I hope to campaign a Starlet GT in Track Day Trophy next year: http://www.trackdaytrophy.co.uk My aim is to have the car in Class C, which calls for a max of 150 whp p/tonne. That figure is race weight, including me, and at 6'4" and around 100kg I aint light. My guess is that I'm going to need pretty close to 150whp, if we assume that a stripped '82 with weld in roll cage, fuel, etc and me is around 1000kg. What sort of turbo setup should I look to be running to achieve the 150whp figure with relative ease? It is important that the setup is unstressed, it needs to be reliable, I don't
  20. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/539206.htm That's the RX, think i'm going to get a glanza and turn it into a mini R26R haha

  22. Hey, Nothing wrong with the RX it's great and will be sorely missed. It's used as a weekend toy, but my mileage seems to spiraling so doesn't really see the light of day as much as it should. I run a little VW as a daily, and with fuel atm it makes alot more financial sense to run that, even at the weekend! Really looking forward to getting back into a Starlet of some description
