the turbo is only held on by the manifold and downpipe. just make sure to disconnect the other bits to save breaking them. but mate. be ready with a swear jar for the job. you will cuss like a sailor. also, dont even bother trying to do it with the radiator in. its aggro to drain the coolant etc, but it makes like so much easier (ish)

its the acc control valve. it increases the revs when you put the air con/heater on to stop you having a sluggish idle. and it also makes a gay ticking noise.

the car is good. but the engine mate. my life. it is just crap.

i got them from japan. kayaba make LOADS of aftermarket stuff.

3rd bold underneath the manifold. what.. a.. cunt.. i had to heat up a spanner and bend it into the right shape. it took about 3 hours to do tightly. also. you have the oil feed at the bottom of the turbo. take that off because its metal and will bend out of shape. and you can just unclip the waterlines at the thermo housing. appart from that youre good to go.

sounds like you have 2 problems.... the 1 bar in 5th is fuel cut. but at 0.5 bar you wont hit it it sounds like an ignition problem. most common problem at this time of year is wet plugs. if you still have the top mount intercooler, take it off, and then run the car on idle for 15 mins until its nice and hot. turn the car off, and pull the plug leads out. if you got steam, you have wet plugs and you need to dry them. if not. then you got me. 0.5 bar should be running sweet.

its not a "power boost valve" to start. thats a name some cunt gave them over here to sell them to little chavs. sounds cool doesnt it? it is actually a fuel pressure regulator. it restricts and regulates the flow of fuel going back into the tank and this causes an incraese in pressure. more pressure means more fuel can be pushed out of the injectors in a shorter space of time when they are cycling. they do pretty much nothing on their own, they just add more fuel. you need more oxygen in the mix to make any kind of benefit. basically, more air + more fuel = bigger explosion = more power. they are only good for mild fuel tuning, and are not exactly accurate. if you want to do it properly youll need some engine management.

worst V6 engine ever made. it is a piece of shit.

i use the mintex xtreme. they are the win. but they do need warming up before they really startl working.

its not ep history it was never fitted to an ep! it was on a CT9 with an EP body. still lush though, and mark, im serious about spending some time touching/sniffing it.

i have used their silicome hosing on my ep, they are good. however, this will not be made by them, and will be a generic copy made in some factory in china. itll do the job, but dont expect it to last longer than a year.

buy a speed limiter defencer, greddy and blitz make them. or, if you hit the limit fast enough it just blasts right through it. and carried on ^^ but tbh. why do you want to go over 112 mph in a starlet? they are SHIT at that sort of speed

only thing i hope, is that you make the rest of the car just as shit. i shall inspect and give merit once it is finished. see if it is properly JDM.

you wont get a minter for 4500 to start with mate. and defiantly not a modded one. for that sort of money you should be looking for an ep82.
