4 inch mate. the driverside is a piece of piss, just take the panel under the steering wheel off. 4 screws. the passenger side is trickier, you have to actaully take the whole compartment off including the glovebox. still not difficult though. youll have them both off in 20 mins

for track id go for the teg. they have an AMAZING fwd chassis. they are lightyears ahead of starlets in the handling dept. the vtec is better suited to track aswell.

heres a wee update... while ive had the ar off the road with the fecking clutch problems... i thought id get some other stuff out the way that ive been meaning to do.. started on the cam cover. stripped it back to bare metal again, got the new AN fitting on and just general tidying it up (it had a dent in it randomly) before i get it primed and painted. then i started on the rear lights.. im doing them black on the inside to make them a bit more subtle to match the car. then i put the first coat of red on the cooling panel... and it reacted to the primer :angry:. ill have t
