yaeh i know he was running stocks in there. just a good tune. im worried about bending the shafts if i launch like that. they are only tiny :\

dash bulbs are 501 mate. just get some green ones.

same here, lol. cam belt changes are easy. can do all 3 belts in about an hour.

ive got the lip and the bonnet, thats enough for the front. any more and it would look a bit over the top.

i considered them, but i want proper crusie ones, not copies. also, if i had carbon fenders it would be a bit to much carbon.

my cambelt changes cost me about 30 quid :S tbh the screamers on a ct9 sound shit imo. to run a screamer properly you need an external wastegate. the best decat you can get is a blitz one

i never said it was the best you can get. but for the power of the car right now, it works just fine. you might squeeze a few more horses out of the engine with a standalone. but we dont want to, were happy with it as it is. when dave needs more power, then well step it up.

i dont know, you tell me? 450 hp would seem to imply that it works quite well? and yes, the stock bottom end is being worked. but for where we are with this project, its working just fine. a blitz access is a remapped stock ecu, so is the JAM and the SARD ecus... are they shit aswell? they cant be! they are for the mighty starlet! the ecu may be stock, but it has been remapped to suit the exact needs of the car. if we decide to push the car further, we may well go down the standalone route. but again, thats in the future, and we are all chuffed to bits with how its running right now.

fishy, saying that just makes you sound like an ass, and just proves that you dont know as much as you think you do. just because starlets have shitty internals and ecus, doesnt mean other cars do. just because it has a standard bottom end, doesnt mean its an "awful" setup. again, youre speaking with your tgtt knowledge again mate. you need to open your eyes and look outside of the starlet world youre in. if dave decided to forge the bottom end (and he may) he can push it up to around 600 hp. will it still be shit then? this car isnt finished yet. as we've stated many times, this is a wor
