  1. whats the point?! the SR20 is a great engine. did you know at the same horsepower levels. the SR puts out more torque than the RB....
  2. no this is daves S14. its lush. and is an ANIMAL. it scares me.
  3. you have this problem on the mk 1 GTs. the struts bolt the other way round and you cant fit the brace. i had this issue myself when i owned a GT. its the reason why cusco etc make the braces with 4 holes. to cater for both sets. i never knew the UK ep91s used this pattern though. the way to get it to fit, is to re drill your strut tower to accept the bolts the other way. then reposition the topmounts on your suspension. this is however, annoying and time consuming. and they dont really offer too much in the way of support. they are similar to the stock front bar. you should sell it,
  4. TC picked up our first trophy! (well, dave, he is an awesome driver) he won a 3 year subscription to total nissan and will get a feature done. keep your eyes open for it. fastest Nissan at the jap shoot out! dave was smashing GTR skylines to pieces! we took some pics and will get them up soon.
  5. me and harrison got pwned by the snows. woke up with about 10 inches of the shit outside the tent. so we snugged a bit more ^^/
  6. still in shock mate. thats such a shitter about this. i know we cant go into it, but im sure the little cunts who did this will get caught and sorted out accordingly. as for that bumper mate, ill chat you a bit later, but dont worry about money for it at the moment bud
  7. she must be ubes for pais mate. free hilidays are also ubes.
  8. for use on single port actuators. which the starlet doesnt have ^^
  9. all that extra piece of tubing is doing, is making an extra vent for the pressure. the starlet already has one, its that little pipe that comes up the side of the pulley cover. having another one will make it, in my opinion, less than reliable and would be liable to spike. montana, wait till youre running 1 bar and see how well it holds then. you have it setup the way you should do on a single port actuator, which would be fine if the starlet didnt use a twin port actuator. you need to change it it should be done, the way that spoon has said.

  11. thats right spoon, wel done for the pic, i couldnt be bothered to do one, lol.
  12. if you vent the boost controller to atmosphere, the wastegate wont open. it will have the same effect as a split actuator pipe. it will be like LOLZ IM BOOSTING. you must have done something different.
  13. now im signed in on my account. your engine will last about 10 seconds if you do that. like i said, you dont need the t piece.
  14. yeah, the you dont have to be so delicate with the flow paths and turbulences etc. because the air isnt being sucked in, its being rammed in by a turbo ^^
  15. the plugs may be the same, but i know some early ep82s had different loom plugs. and at a worse case scenario youll have to solder 2 wires together, hardly any trouble!
  16. that isnt the best way to go about it, the stock DV is hardy reliable when its used properly lol
  17. im no NA expert as ive only worked on the turbo variety of starlets. but from what ive seen it looks as if it would bolt to the stock manifold and do away with the cat. it looks like it'd fit nicely. but i wouldnt know for sure. i could probably get it here for less than 160 quid.
  18. mobil 1? YUK. cant you get better oil than that? look for millers or something.
  19. ignore it mate, hes hardly a knowledge bank himself... id be quite interested in knowing his opinions on the 4 branch if hes savvy enough to insult people. the 4 branch manifold isnt cast in the same way the turbo manifolds are. it is bent pipe. so there isnt really much room to port, and tbh they dont need it. they are very free flowing. its the length thats the issue. the runners are probably 14-16 inches long. thats extra travel time for the charged air, and more space for the air to go. as i said before, turbo cars want the air, in the chambers, as fast as possible.
  20. , to get the compressor stalling, a silicone pipe bung is what you need. ebay or a samco dealer will sort you out. you will need an open air filter to hear the noise by the way aswell.
  21. thats a universal kit mate. it supplies all parts needed for almost all applications, jsut because it doesnt fit your needs doesnt mean you have to use it. lol. all you need is the bleed valve mate.
  22. 0w might be a bit too thin mate, if you have a slight leak, 0 weight oil will find it. i personally use 5w30 oil. and it works fine. its not boggy when cold and 30 weight is about right for a turbo car when its warmed up to operating temps.
  23. lol, i wasnt being a snob mate was just an example i think were mixing up our meanings i think youre thinking more power. which i agree, it will be much more powerful. but i mean delivery. a hybrid ct9 will still spool up low down and deliver moderate power across the revs. much like a ct9 but with more power. a larger turbo on the other hand will forfeit low down power, and be very unresponsive, but once you get it spinning it pulls your heart out and give you alot more power than any ct9 could. ill take you out in mine, youll understand what lag is all about then mate, lol.
  24. hahaha, in that case carry on mate. i would.
  25. the plugs may be different depending on year, but it will work.
