its literally a handfull of wires, and if you buy a stupidly prced hks kit for instance, you get a purple ring piece where all the wires attatch to.. waste of money for a branded kit, go to an audio shop, get some nicely sized gauge amp power wire, and make your own.. you can get junction blocks from there too, polished if your fancy. one line goes to battery earth into the junction block, then comming out of the other ports on the block the amp wires go to the chassis earthing points. it just means your getting a better earth rather than the tiny little earthing wires as standard. do a

-
give it a good 'ol sniff we all like to sniff it once in a while. exhausts that is..
-
heat them with a hairdryer bro, and if you mean the chrome badge type, use a credit card underneath to pull it off
-
you can use any size filter you want, as long as its rated up to the bhp your aiming at. get some long nose pliers on the efi pipe and squeeze it, then pull.. itll pop off easily with a bit of persuasion.. cant remember exactly what size the inlet is, think its about 60?

if you have an adjustable bov, like the blitz dual drive or supersound, hks maybe, the sard bov's etc you should be able to adjust the spring tension so it doesnt chatter. its where the bov isnt opening soon enough , and the air is rushing back through the turbo the opposite way. <-- like the other lads have said. if people have said its wastegate chatter, its not before you think it is. its purely turbo stall. try adjusting the bov so its a softer spring tension, which would open easier and thus releasing the pressure rather than the only place for it is through the turbo and the sou

as soon as you get the figures let us know, im well interested how much extra you got out of it ;) what type of motec is it by the way mate?
-
haha i try my best lads definately a good idea if you'd like to redecorate the walls ;)
-
mate you can buy a soundblaster audigy EX soundcard, you have the internal card that connects to the motherboard, and out of that comes 2 leads into an external decoder box. which you can plug spdif's, phono leads, digital out/inputs etc.. i connect my mixer up via it, and also used to connect my guitar up to it via that to use with ableton live/frutyloops

yeah the speedo cable can click if its loose mate. if your car is up for cambelt change, get it sorted. buy the belt off ebay or daveburwash from his service section. garage shouldnt charge too much to change it. couple of hours labour if there slow lol

youll be lucky to pick up an apexi power fc now, there discontinued, and so all the second hand units floating about are going to be mega money. i personally think road mapping, as it gives you real world figures. not many places tune on the road though for obvious reasons.
-
see what boredom does to you ?! i have a bigger radiator on my pc than i do on my glanza
-
flare the arches, fit 25mm spacers and slap the wideboys on i say muchos gripos
-
oh right, no i wasnt slating you N/A guys, of course i wasnt. i was just curious as to why you have a motec system and mapping costs, when you could bang in a fte lump and have instant power gains.
-
And i thought i was sad watercooling mine
-
Motec management on a 4efe ? whats the point, why didnt you save the cash and just spend it on a conversion which would easily see you pushing more power than a mapped and tuned 4efe?
-
yeah they are interchangable mate. the sr and glanza are identical chassis's pretty much. topmounts would be the same and the hub mounting points are in identical places.
-
coilys are the easiest type of shock to fit, as you dont have to compress springs, swap etc.. half hour each corner taking it slowly adjusting the height is preferance.. fit them and adjust to the height you like.. then set the damping pressures and rebound to suit... make sure to get the castor/camber and toe set up by the professionals though matey, itll make a world of difference.. get some extreme camber going on make her squat!
-
loving the mix bro. I make the occasional tune on my computer.. ill have to upload it and you guys let me know what you think How chilled is this
-
