To be fair, I don't see any point in doing any CT9 mods when you've had one a while.
Bigger turbo, forged and a well set up ECU is what the pan should be
-
I've had mine for 8 years and in the process of showing it some love to get it back into pristine condition, not that much wrong with it mind it's just getting most parts all refreshed and maybe some more ponies under the hood
-
I had a feeling this would happen and they always use the 'We didn't know it was going to be this popular bollocks'.
Never had a problem with F1 games on the PS3

I'll be there.

What a monster of a car!

Gents a 20% saving is quality and please be satisfied with that, at the end of the day Jerrick still needs to make a profit
John
I think a good £100 + saving on a set of very well tested and reviewed coil overs is a bloody bargain!
-
A few places around me have suggested around £2000. That's for the full job, windows out, bumpers off etc.

I've got my strip time booked already

I found mine pretty easy to get off, you just need the right tool.
Use a puller like this set:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/46PC-Harmonic-Balance-Puller-Kit-Remove-Gears-Steering-wheel-Crankshaft-1922-/141031590428?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20d6234a1c
I've got a clarke set and used it when I did the timing belt last, worked a treat and you won't chip anything on it beating it with a hammer!
On a side note, I would not replace the stock pully with an aftermarket one as they can damage the engine in the long run.

Were going down Sunday morning. Probably setting off just after 7 and having a bit of breakfast at tibby services before hand. It's only an hour and a half down to the pod and I should think traffic should be pretty light, it was last year.

I'll be heading down in the Celica matt with my mate in his Glanza.

If I were you I'd have knocked that passenger 'flat' out
Looms like it goes well though.

Oh dear thought I might get responses like this. Look guys at the end of the day it's a lot of cash for what it is. And actually I'm very well sorted with my knowledge of all toyotas especially starlets thanks as I used to own one!! But I came here looking to dabble with them again and I can't find a decent one that is a reasonable price for both parties.
I sold my celica for just under 6k and it was a weapon and extremely clean. I can afford the asking prices of all the starlets I've looked at but walked away because of their poor condition be it body work or tatty engine bays and rubbish interior. Id pay what ever something is worth at the end of the day. I am a massive Toyota fan and have only ever owned one other make of car which was an Impreza gb270 number 1 of 100 ever made which I sold for 12k!
Honestly can't believe how personal everyone gets on here I'm entitled to my opinion and know quite a few other lads that came back here trying to get another starlet but gave up. My surname is pike ha ha but guess I leave myself open to 'witty' comments like those with my screen name- you are welcome to come and see me at the next jap fest if you still feel you need to cry about things.
Clean and problem free? Is hasn't got an engine, box, full loom and needs a full re spray! At the end of the day I CAN see the potential in it but not for that price. We all want to get a decent price for what we own of course we do but come on really....?
I agree
It is a rare sight you can pick one up that's been very well looked after at the moment or modded to a very poor standard. I'm in the process of re-furbishing mine which should see a good chuck of money chucked its way but not got any engine stuff planned yet. I think mines the most powerful stock boost running EP in the UK, quite like the rarity of having the original bits under the engine bay
I'd just keep hunting around, one will turn up
-
I've not seen that about town before.
Re-spray looks like a cheapo one as all the black under the bonnet is still there. Looks clean from the outside though.
4 grand though?

This guy does you over on the EMU and then has the cheek to fit it and get the unit mapped.
How do you know he's had this mapped Haresign?
Surely someone knows this stealing scumbag and can pay him a visit to see what explanation he can offer?
-
Not as stupid as that barrier which starts half way down the strip!

Good progress.
No wonder you took the interior out I doubt you would fit in it with it all in!
-
Would this bolt onto it to make it fit non fmic kits?
I'm looking for a new one for my GT4 and would need some sort of adapter like that to run this.
