  1. thats identical to one which i had alot of fun in. turning round in the yard, full lock, foot to floor - HOLY SHIT I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE SIDEWAYS EVER
  2. i should check mine, it wouldnt surprise me if like, they're all gone, plus im such a beast that i tighten all my wheel nuts by hand with such a force that no air guns can actually remove them, so how i haven't sheared/snapped one yet is nothing short of a miracle o_O
  3. you had the chance, i had them for sale for a month or two you gash puppy, plus you only live about 20 miles away rick put the effort in though, and its very blatently paid off.
  4. bout time you got some pics up on here matey. i've gone through quite a few sets of rims recently. i've got a set of 15" mazdaspeed volks coming (need a bit of paint) but i'll 'probably' be putting them on my car to sell as they'll be more desirable to a buyer than the magnesium super-rap's (i.e red steelies ;)) that i have on at present. might be up your street though? they're forged and jdm to the max, im just wondering whether to just spray them or do a proper powder coat job though. im having some parts of the car sprayed to get it looking new so i MIGHT just chuck the wheels in aswell an
  5. i dont mean to sound offensive or anything, i'm just curious, but why did you spend that money on a Motec for a n/a starlet? i imagine it'll do wonders for a medium/heavy tuned gt/glanza, but i can't quite see the point in doing it on a n/a, or maybe i'm missing something.... especially considering its almost the same cost as n/a's cost these days. by the way, i dont mean to be condescending or anything, i'm genuinly curious, please dont take it the wrong way.
  6. arent those wider at the rear? you may find that'll mess with the 4wd system a little bit, not entirely sure but i've heard that odd wheels can cause slightly erratic behaviour. personally i prefer those wheels on drift monsters, or gtr's, but i havent seen them on a pulsar so it may look quite nice.
  7. i have a drivers side frame with a bucket and harness if you're interested ;)
  8. --> QUOTE(Stevie B @ Apr 24 2007, 09:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>saw it on tgtt, looks ragged to death now. true, but its also been used for what it was designed to be used for, so i bet its been setup perfectly, i.e its RAPID. if it was built then never driven, it wouldnt be anywhere near as quick as a tested/finely tuned car, i bet its been re-tweaked so many times to make the performance optimal. its fantastic, i NEED it.
  9. yep the likes of WEPR on tgtt etc do full exhaust systems for about half that, you could probably buy a used jdm kit for around that too. take a gander over to tgtt for WEPR products as the exhausts are supposed to be decent.
  10. bust out dem skillz brud ;D also, is that a wideband i spy?
  11. Those car were standard, car's 97 and onwards require an Enhanced SVA test, using a model report, so the cars need to be pretty much completely standard, which would be completely useless for this cruise car as it'd take far too much work putting it standard, you're better off just swapping everything over to an already registered car, would make much more sense, and it'd be easy enough to do. The bumper on there is probably there for a reason, when you're looking at over 400bhp, lets be honest, who gives a fuck about the fucking bumper? look at that engine bay, you think they really give a
  12. you didnt mention anything about looks, you said which you prefer, you never mentioned which one you prefer the looks of or which one you prefer to drive, i mean, come on, be specific for once. least joz understands
  13. do you prefer, as in, you've driven all variations and have deduced this decision from hours in the driving seat, or just from what you hear down the pub ? If its the educated decision, then i don't actually have a specific favourite. I prefer the look of evo's, and the drive, but i did have some serious fun in a particular impreza thats one of the only cars i got out of and kept shaking for about half an hour after. I will be having an Evo 4 RS in the forseeable future after the S14, this is because i love their understated look, and have ALWAYS preferred the way they drive to the impreza'
  14. If you're still running the standard exhaust and manifold, then that's definately your next port of call. to be honest you dont actually need the fuel pump, the stock pump is good for 220bhp on most setups, the larger 255lph pumps are designed for skylines etc, on a starlet they're complete overkill. 200lph as an upgrade is ample. Once you have the exhaust and manifold sorted you can look to raising the boost slightly, or changing to a hybrid turbo (or other turbo/manifold setup) and then have it dyno'd and the fuelling setup accordingly to suit. that should see you upto 200bhp'ish i expect.
  15. welcome back noobtits.
  16. lucky my firefox is god and blocks like, everything.
  17. ....what? win over what? point to point speed? comfort? gymkhana style handling? high speed stability? running costs? easiest to live with? you do win the award for the most pointless poll ever though.
  18. yeah they do mate, when you crank up the boost anyway. also nick, at 11psi you're prob at around 150bhp, maybe between 150-160 at most, 200 is being a little optimistic!!! you're welcome to pm me or whatever if you wanna chat anyways sl8ter & jett, but i'd firstly like to ask, what the hell is your actual name
  19. they dont have insurance groups, they're imports. just comparisons, and most insurance companies make it up anyways. The attitude was there because you're confidently giving out completely incorrect information, he could've spent ages trawling through breakers looking for a 1.5 Turbo when no such engine exists for the starbo, no need to start cussing when you were clearly in the wrong also, 300bhp would require a full forged engine build, but 220-250bhp is possible on stock internals providing its setup correctly and tuned by a professional to make sure everything is running ok. What are yo
  20. there's a few matey, but its the sort of conversion used for big setups, unless you've pushed your 4E to the limits then you wouldn't normally consider it. Where are you at mod wise at the moment? i presume 250bhp+ if you're looking into having more and calling your current setup 'insane'...
  21. do you have any idea what you're talking about? bahaha... there was ONLY the 1332cc 4E-FTE in turbocharged form. There's not really an engine that'll drop right in to replace it, but there is a way to 'hybrid' the standard 1.3 engine which will turn it into a 1.5 litre engine, the engine in question would come from a cynos/paseo, and is a naturally aspirated (non-turbo) 5E-FHE (this is the one to go for anyway, the normal FE is less sought after). It's not particularly difficult, but there's still alot of work involved to create the conversion, and even then you're still able to get well ov
  22. well when you want to be in more debt, give me a shout and i'll sort you out with some goodies from japland in the suspension/coilover department ;) mwahahaha
