Its not a silicone hose though its a solid pipe reinforced with something inside. i think its like a hard plastic or something. il ask phil if he's had his replaced Thanks for that mate but has it got the reinforced plastically bit on the inside. the one on my engine is rock hard rather than a silicone hose lol
  4. Pretty sure I've found the culprit of my oil leak now the engines out It wasnt that bad it had a huge crack in it though and just snapped off when i moved it. need a new one now any suggestions? pretty lucky it didnt do much damage really arn't I ;)

After changing crank seal and many other things im pretty sure this is the culprit of the oil leak now lol obv it wasnt that bad but had a good crack in it when i moved it slightly it snapped off anyone know where i can get one from. is there such thing as an uprated pipe or maybe braided pipe for this?

  9. yep thats the guy was going to drive down to him but he nicely said save my money and he'd talk me through everything on the phone gave me some handy tips too what a bloke ;)

  12. just got off the phone with chris he said its easy to do and has just talked me through it all so going to do it at home next week What a guy though knows a hell of a lot lol

  20. try post office I've posted exhausts wheels etc with them you dont have to have a courier really. there light anyway should be 10-15 quid as a guess
  21. totally agree with you its sooooooooo nice its unreal but it means taking all the metal pipes out etc i wunt be able to put it all back together though haha
  22. ^^^^^ you git i spent 2 days talking myself out of doing that and now youve ruined it looks so nice seriously tempting to take the lot out now and respray iy but would take so long taking all the pipes out at the back etc etc dont know if i can be arsed haha
  23. totally agree i think a weeks not long enough. I've posted something before 1st class and it took over a week to reach the guy. luckily he was patient and didnt complain. IMO a fortnight is the best time to wait for parts if nothing after that then start complaining

  25. ***UPDATE*** been really cracking on with it in the last few days Firstly been cleaning the engine bay Such awesome stuff So before AFTER Came up so much better than i thought. awesome what a can of gunk foam and a pressure washer can do Also while i was at it thought i may as well clean the bottom of the bonnet From this To this and for finishing touches purposes i also replaced the old washer hoses with nice blue silicone hose Thanks to RO55FUMI and his tip on using baby sterilising fluid i managed to get the washer fluid bottles cleaned the best i could Also started getting my toms style skirts sprayed up PRIMER Spray Finially started taking my engine to bits Heads off and came up really well with a clean Rest of engine And finially after a good clean and coat of paint Heads getting sent off tomorrow hopefully to be skimmed then its new headgasket on and hopefully taking it to nastyrash on here to get put back together properly just to be safe Reaaly happy with progress in last few days but still got a lot to be getting on with ;)
