just thought of something else whens the last time you changed your fuel filter? if its been a while they can sometimes clog up with crap and restrict the fuel coming through, this could cause the up and down idling if its not letting a consistant level of fuel through hope this helps

sounds like boost leak to me dude mine used to do that cause the pipe coming from the turbo feeding the boost gauge was loose under my footwell and i kept catching it and breaking the join so it used to sit there in idle revving up and down if you have a boost gauge check the pipe feeding it hasnt come apart from somewhere if not check the whole turbo system pipes joins etc

firstly welcome to the club dude secondly you made the right choice in wanting a starlet try the for sale section sure theirs some nice glanzas in thier dude as for 200bhp. they can easily be reached with say a full exhaust system, front mount intercooler, magnecore leads, relocated air filter, adjustable actuator and a hybrid turbo set to about 1.2 bar. Simples

i think i know what happened here.....they were holding a cossie meet when just down the road there was a huge starlet meet. there penises immediatly shrank when they realised they was in gay fords when they could be in amazing jap pocket rockets so they fled by foot to the nearest jap importer and bought a starlet Just call me detective steve

haha someones told me on a 4x4 forum that if i give them £2000 they'll stick 2 suzuki 1000cc gsxr engines in it for me do the whole conversion for me like they have with theirs what a mad but brilliant thing to do haha
