is that -2 camber?

whats the tracking settings for a 98 glanza v? is the camber likely to be out by a lot if its been lowered around 35mm? as the insides of my tires are slick and the outside hasnt been touched! i had the tracking done to a uk spec starlet two days before xmas and its still chewed them apart?

well i doubt it'll make as much difference for you n/a boys, but it does feel better all round really. faster is a bit of a overused term, it defo feels much more responsive, and spools up faster... its also much louder!

the tin cover for the cat was a pig though, one of the bolts seezed on and rounded off so i ended up spending an hour cutting it off!!

sorted the cat out the other day... before.... check out the heavy restriction during.... after.... feels loads better after a ecu reset. i found no increase in boost though... which was a bit strange as i know afew people that have had an increase.

ok its been bugging me for a while now, but does anyone elses electric folding mirrors play up when its wet? mine are fine moving the glass around, but when it comes to folding them in they'll either go in or out very slowly or one and not the other or in a tiny bit and will just stop, this only happens when its wet though, when its dry they're fine! any ideas?

i got this type of shit non stop when i owned the car, and i had it for 4 years! i really dont care to be honest, you can ask anyone i know around my area, i had the bonnet done black in a bid to be different, and purely because i thought it looked pretty good agaist the black wheels. plus it was a euro styling trend that i loved and thought i'd apply it to mine. i do admit the wheels werea little on the large side, but theyre only 16"s, so theyre hardly massive. so only 1 inch bigger than the most respected size for starlets. plus they were cheap. i did have them professionaly refurbed & sprayed black. so painted wheels are chav? well thats most of us screwed. it was a jap can backbox, of the same (if not far off) diameter exit as the blitz, wepr or hks systems we see for the turbo starlets, so its not like i stuck a cherry bomb on the back for it to be loud! the only thing that is chav was the shopping list. i freely admit that, but i liked it and couldnt bring myself to take them off just because other people thought i was a 'chav'. glanza jim had a small list of goodies down the door on his old glanza, now i didnt see people saying that car was chav?? my advice, do what you want to your cars, theres allways going to be someone out ther who wont like it, so bollox to them. im sorry to those in the thread who believe that a modded n/a starlet must have hks and blitz goodies dripping off it, because lets face it, it was a lowered standard starlet with a black bonnet, im sorry that my chavish ways offended you

thats where i got mine done! they built andrew semons (now adamans gt) system, and i inspected the system after they built mine and i have to admit i was pretty impressed. but i had already pre warned him that, "if i get it done here, i want it done properly!" ;) still, i think they did a great job.

ok a lil update, changed my plugs yesterday, (cheers graeme mate ;) ) what a difference! feels so much smoother, the old ones looked ok, but o well. (gaps look bigger on the old ones though??) also had a peek inside the top mount to see if there was much oil floating around in there, as i remember someone saying its a good way of seeing if the turbo's throwing out any oil. theres a little oil, but seems ok! what do you guys think? also got a few little bits thru the post, but only fitted one for the meantime, just something small. hks oil cap, matches my bov too! another update should be on its way in the week, as im off all week, so i might give it a good clean for some pics!

to be honest mate just look at the back of a white glanza and imagine it with a n/a bumper, as thats pretty much what youre gonna have! or ask for someone to chop that for you! no point in doing chops for that type of thing in my opinion. just my 2p ;)

i think maybe we should have made it compulsory to have to have hi res photos before the selecting began.

i'd say you should be able to take them back in exchange. you wont be able to get a refund, but at least you could get a different set or ones with the right offset and stud pattern
