  1. ok guys, ive been wanting to do a gutted cat for ages now, but i didnt want to do it unless i had a spare cat just in case i ever needed to put it back on (i remember glanzajim having huge troubles trying to get his thru mot and ended up putting one back on) so ive recieved my cat downpipe this morning, but im undecided on what to do now. initially i was going to gut the cat downpipe i got thru the post, but now i keep thinking im gonna do it and then find taking the old one off the car a total pain in the arse especially with sensors and what not, so should i gut the one thats on the car ins

hopefully sort one out in a few weeks time. i'll keep you informed!

  3. yeah, that'd be my dad for you eks. he refused to let me use anything other than 1/4 inch steel plate so it should be mega strong.
  4. im sure the bottom one is controlled by the 'stat so it must be the bottom one. just start it up and leave it running for 5 mins and feel the hoses, im sure the top one gets hot first.
  5. i had to modify the one i had im my car, its not so easy to use the standard frame as its riveted to the original seat, and its in two peices from what i remember, so to be honest youre best off getting some angle steel and making one up yourself because of the amount of fabrication on the original frame.
  6. gotta agree. buch of tossers.
  7. which kits allow you to retain the aircon? is the greddy the only one?

  11. i just bought a new one when my old n/a one got mullered. bumpers flex, so it will allways crack again and again. i'd buy a new one and cut it out for the fmic then spray it up, that way youre not off the road at all. and you just need to swap them over when you want.
  12. i'd go to an exhaust place. much nicer and neater. plus it'll probably only cost you the sunny side of 100 notes

  23. god damn i love this car. the other thing i love is the way you australian guys have just got such a high attention to detail! also the way you dont listen to people banging on about 17's slowing you down, and how you shouldnt run that kinda boost on the standard ct9 etc etc...... you guys just go and do it!! just out of curiosity though, how long have you been running 20psi? and have you had no internal work done?
