to be honest i used to just wait till summer and sponge them down with fabric cleaner and water in a bucket. you need a good day for it to dry out though.
-
everything should be the same, bar the fact that the pipework is slightly larger, so you'll have to adapt it to fit.
-
dont get 16's. theyre too big and heavy for a starlet, i had 16's on my old one, and it made a big hit to the performance. alsotyres for 16's are mega expensive compared to even 18's!
-
cheers mate... yeah, around 4 years of hard work... but if im honest it went thru soo many changes as my taste changed, but damn i did love that car. im glad it lives on though! i might find all my old pics of it and put them up.

Back boxes, exhausts..where to buy? EP91
scutch0 replied to Tommy_G's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
laser do a backbox too theyres a thread on it in the part numbers section. -
apart from the earthed out hotwires, i think theyre called, that give a huge increase in spark! whether or not that extra spark does alot is the real question though.

mine and geo's old n/a's at the banzai thrash supposed to be -40mm probably about 60mm though once they settled

does anyone know the official 0-60 times of a standard glanza

yeah, i know the stopwatch is not a great way of timing, but i tend to let the clutch slip a bit while creeping before setting off on a proper run, so any other device would time me from when i start creeping. not yet had it dynoed, i want to as i suspect that it is running a little under the benchmark power figure. what did you do to get it running well again? -

ok, i retract my previous comment, i just thought it was being a bit harsh, thats all. doesnt look like it. if im honest i cant seem to get a better 0-60 than around the 8 second mark on standard boost. -

bit harsh really. so now a sr owner is less of a starlet owner because they dont own a turbo model? -

two race horses walking across the paddock, after both having a very unsuccessful day, one said to the other, "do you know, if i continue to perform this badly, my owner will sell me for dogmeat" the other replied, "i know but i cant understand it. we're both from good stock, we have excellent trainers, and we're as fit and any other horse, so why are we always last?" a dog that was trotting alongside piped up: "i can answer that. the trouble is, youre starting too fast and losing all you energy before the third furlong. then, when it comes to the final thrust, you've got nothing left to give! pace yourself, hold something in reserve, thena couple of hundred yards from the finish, go for broke!" the first horse looked at the other, and said...................................................................................................................................... BUGGER ME, A TALKING DOG!!!
