right. theres your problem. you will need to trace the loom for the stereo back and find the wire that should be the permanent live, see if it has power, if not, then wire in a new permanent 12v. this should rectify the memory problem, as im sure the clock runs off the stereo too, so it should solve that too.

i think they'd look great!

nice one tim! im a bit further out than the kent guys... but we could all arrange to meet at bluewater? (i still havent been!) good to see you coming over! i dunno about a holiday though!? its gonna be the usual bloody freezing weather here!!! Rich.

probably mega expensive from toyota. get a sr owner to take some photos of the graphics you want and take them to a graphics/sign making shop to make up. it'll cost you a fraction of the price. Rich.

does the radio work ok? as the interior light, clock and radio all work off the same fuse. alternatively does you radio save radio stations and settings? if not you may have a dead permanent live.

i was having a simular problem with my glanza mate. are you running a atmosperic bov? i found my problem was caused by a boost leak. it turned out to be a mixture of the standard bov not being blocked off properly, and the boost pipe off the turbo not being tightly bolted down. i took everything off the intake side, cleaned it and put it back together. Rich.

Ive know this fact for a while now that the k&n doesnt offer the best filtration, but only after buying it... so i stuck with. if im honest, if i did it again, i would probably look about for a few other makes that offer better filtration, because after taking my throttle body off you could see the dust buildup (which aint good for any engine!). and i wasnt too impressed by that and stuffed the standard filter in. i would probably look into the blitz one on fensports site, look into green cotton filters, or look for a better flowing paper filter. then if all else fails, go for the k&n

OOOHHHH!!!! shite, that looks painfully expensive!! do you know if its repairable buddy?

yeah, cant really garantee a gain from it (altho there probably is one) but it irons out faltspots in the revrange, and does seem to allow better higher revving flow.
-
yeah, the only thing is that the guy who will be building the system said that if i get a box from them it'll be under their lifetime warranty... so im a bit undecided!
-

ok guys, i need some help to find a nice cannon style backbox for my full exhaust system (just the can, nothing else). i basically want one like what i have on the car now, a 3-4 inch outlet seam welded. i was looking for one simular to starleyboy's tenzo one he had on his old n/a. i was gonna keep mine, but its not in a1 condition, and i have no idea who its made by! it'll be hung exactly the same way as mine is now, so it cant be massive! opinions, ideas?

Got my Corolla Inlet - Paint/chrome/polish????
scutch0 replied to stan_the_man's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
polish and chroming will be difficult on it because some of the areas on it will be hard to get to. id suggest painting it. -
anywhere that has experience in welding. a decent tyre and exhaust place. i wouldnt try kwick fit either to be honest!
