boost guage repaired and fitted. yeah eks... i want a fan of the bov to start with (its growing on me though)... i was looking everywhere for a greddy type s jobbie, but theyre either impossable to find or real expensive... and this one was at a bargain price, so i'll probably upgrade at a later date. @geo no worries mate, i figured you must have had them out ages ago... cant really get the time off work to do that at the minute mate...(as ive just taken 3 weeks off!) maybe in a couple of months. ;) i'll keep you informed! cheers for the feedback guys! Rich.

How 2: Fit A Grainger/Bleed Valve To An EP91
scutch0 replied to NightSpirit's topic in Tutorials & Guides
if you fit one of these does it de restrict 1st & 2nd gear? or does that remain? as i'd like to keep low boost if i can, but i'd like to loose the restriction in 1st & 2nd in high? nice guide by the way. where did you buy the grainger valve, and how much did it cost? cheers, Rich. -
first modification update!! after the first week of just getting used to the extra power and enjoying the smooth ride of the V i decided to get some mods rolling. the first thing on my list was hunting for that boost problem, which has strangely vanished without a trace!? took it down to japan motors for them to have a look and no problem was found. so for now, the first modification had to be some suspension. tanbe shocks and springs... ohh my god!! is this setup awesome!!! you still keep some sort of ride comfort but the handling has improved by miles!! its kinda soft while crusing b

yeah, thats why i havent got that kit in my car... i often borrow sat-navs from work, so i'd rather keep mine!
-
nah! i wasnt jokin sparky mate! i had noticed the pressure pad, but i cant really get to it... the wiring seems to be all ok. so for now ive just removed the bulb in the light.

yeah, wanted one since i saw the first ever pic on google about 4 years ago... would be even happier if i could sort this fuel cut problem!
-
ok, replaced the pipe, and its boosts alot smoother now, rather than coming in with a bang... but... it had been fine all night... i decided to give it a boot full now and again to see if i could make it do it, and it was fine. but on the way back i had it at 40mph in 5th, floored it and the boost slowly started cutting in until it got to full boost and then... the electrics light came on again! jesus! this is gettin stupid now!! to be fair there was no 'cough' at all (unlike before), but i tested it when i got home and it was code 34 again. is that defineately fuel cut?? because on the guid
