looks good mate. like the routing. used to have mine relocated like this... and then like this with the apexi and im sorry mate, but i just wouldnt trust a battery with those cable ties. those thinner ones arent as strong as you'd think!

i have given this some thought also... when i did the engine change in the 4efe starlet i forgot to connect the earth to the gearbox mount and i believe it started no problem... i connected it up as soon as i noticed it though which was about 2 mins. even though, if you earth the battery to the chassis a good couple of times i cant see why ( if it defo needed the earth on the gearbox mount) you cant just run the earthing strap from the mount to the chassis? then surely it would have a semi adiquate earth?

(the sidelights are actually white, but because ive got ultra blue headlamp bulbs they look really bluey) and yes! i know it needs a clean!!

thats what my old n/a was like. i had it broken into, so i stripped it out and left nothing in it.

well i had a 5efhe 4-2-1 manifold&downpipe fitted to my old 4efe, and it felt alot flatter... it may have been better at high revs, but the bottom end pull wasnt great. hence why i went back to the standard mani.

you guys are forgetting that the wiring loom that goes from the door has to wire into the car somewhere! i doubt it'll have the loom sitting somewhere, so it'd be aftermarket wiring galore!

ok guys anyone with a lowered starlet will know how annoying this is, altho most of us learn to live with it i think ive sorted the problem for the meanwhile. this is your enemy. the rubber that allows the bootlid to pin the shelf down is.... well.... its rubbish. how to fix it. get some rubber, you can use anything really, but i had some thick black silicone tubing that would do the job which a built up to size in the shape of a block that would fit in the hole in the rubber. i taped mine together, but you could glue it in if you wish. and this is the finished result, i stuck a be
