I'd like to think I'm ok at them but since Phil's been waiting on one since before christmas I wouldn't want to take on another "project" until my comp is back up and running

You don't necessarily need spring clamps, couple of my mates have removed their suspension without them. But if you value your manly good looks (Like me ) I'd recommend using them save having one ping out and break your face.

What's not to like about an S14a??? They're pretty reasonably priced these days too! Can get an 97 plate for about the same price as a 97 Glanza!

S14a's are very nice - not too keen on the pre-facelift models though. I'd have one as a drift slag - but a good looking drift slag, no dents and bumpers hanging off etc I'd also seriously consider cutting a testicle off for an S15 Silvia

A de-cat will make a difference if not a gain in power. It'll free the gas flow through the exhaust system. WickedEP do a decat pipe for not a lot of money and the testemonials are all good! try him!

Well they're not totally against them ;) Topic: Starlet Galanza turbo!? The guy who said his mates fucked straight away- Probably turned the boost up to 2BAR and thought it was great blatting about everywhere! Not too many stories of that happening unless they're heavily modified. I never read the post G but I'm sensing you could have posted it a little more subtly perhaps?

They came up with something similar on in mainland uk, they could basically impound your car if it was modified (but only if you were doing something bad at the time - excessive noise etc!)

Quite accurate actually, put in some of my mates details that I knew from dyno and from what he's got at the 1/4 mile. The time was only a couple tenths off (prob due to slow changes and not putting in drivers weight) Cool!
