If it's FWD it's probably the MR2 3SGTE. But Paul, I still think it'd be cheaper to keep the 4EFTE!! Plus using a big heavy block like that in such a light FWD car would upset the balance of the car, would handle like a pig. Good for the quarter though.

It has been done before, a couple of times. It would take a lot of effort and a lot of money!! Running gear etc... Depends on how much money you've got but GT4's are classed as family saloons so the insurance is pretty cheap, they're easy to mod (you can reach ~300BHP in an ST205 with little effort, takes a little more with a ST185) And they're cool cars. 200sx's make for a spirited drive, S14's are becoming really affordable now, S13's are great looking cars and cheap as chips these days too if you can find a good one.

I don't like the reverse scoops, they sit higher where they meet the bonnet bulge for the little air vent... practical though, draws a little of the hot air out. I'd personally keep the normal scoop and raise the back of the bonnet.

Code 12 - RPM signal - No RPM, TDC signal Did a little search and found that code 12 could be coming up for a couple reasons; Either incorrect plug gaps or RPM signal which can be caused by the clocks being changed to read mph. Any of these sound like the prob? Also some people say it could be the knock sensor but code 52 is det.

What thickness are the leads? A mate put on some uprated ones which were too thick/thin (can't remeber rightly) and his misfired and held back until he eventually just got a new OEM set.

I read something about this on GTTurbo might apply to you dac69er. They said a cheap way to remove the 112mph speed limit was to cut the speed signal wire. Dunno if this is any help to you mate but might be worth a try.
