  1. Yeah I'll be keeping it below 6.5k as the CT9 runs out of puff anyway, smooth, progressive driving is what I have in mind That's exactly how I learned the limits of my NA I just haven't tested the handling of this car as the suspension is pants atm lol Yeah been watching videos of the track on youtube trying to learn it I don't think it'd be hard to keep an eye on the gauges now and again either, sounds like these bits are a must then especially as Luke saved his engine from being even more damaged! Too right, I didn't even go on track and that briefing got me in the mood haha
  2. A lot of good advice here guys, thanks a lot! Yeah should be well at 1 bar, just need a new clutch because mine slips when I get creep at 0.8! Lol I WILL be getting AA membership It's not so much that I rely on the car, just I can't afford a rebuild! And I'm too hyped to drop out now, need to go on this time lol That's cool, did you have any bars and braces to help with handling at all? Don't get me wrong I'd love Meisters or something, but there's no way in hell I'd pay £500+ for a set when I know the setup on my NA (springs, bars and braces) is potent enough without spendi
  3. Get it adjusted or looks like it just needs a lip on the bumper? Either way..VIDEOS!
  4. Black mesh ftw and really liking how you did the stickers, looks tidy and arranged (think that's the OCD in me speaking) lol
  5. See what happens..An optimistic yet scary prospect haha Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but then again I'm not going out there for just a bit of fun and a chilled drive, I want to beat cars lol!
  6. I wouldn't have thought an oil cooler was necessary? Well at least for JF2 anyway as it's two 15 min sessions, may get one later down the line Dan I cannot afford coilovers. Full stop lol. And springs do help as they are stiffer, beats my dragstar setup too lol I'll try and get those 3 gauges, what accessories would I need bar the gauges themselves?
  7. Wow, no suspension mods? You looked pretty fast round there too haha
  8. Rob what was your spec like? Craig forgot I have a boost gauge, I'll edit my post now Looks like the car should be pretty potent and I just need the safety stuff then? Anyone know how much a set of those 3 gauges would set me back (including any required fittings etc)?
  9. Pressure/temp or both? What about water gauge?
  10. Hey guys Planning to take my GT on track at JF2 for two 15 minute sessions. Just want to know what I need to keep it reliable as I can't afford a new engine by any means if any thing God forbid goes wrong! lol Hoping to take it on a few track days a year in the future, and I'm planning to drive it as fast as possible if that makes any difference Current spec Engine: -Standard internals 4efte -Relocated air filter -HDi FMIC -0.7 bar CT9 Turbo using a HKS Actuator -Boost gauge -NGK Iridium Heat Range 7 Plugs -Ported OEM exhaust manifold -Heatwrapped SPS 2.25" Decat -Heatwrapped Japspeed Stai

  13. Pics! A diesel Micra on coilies sounds weird..but at the same time kinda cool? lol
  14. Camskill works out about £100 so Fensport is cheaper I think Cheers James, appreciated ;)
  15. Just wanted to know how to mount the AC fan to a Civic Alloy rad. And also how does it run, does it use the same plug as the normal fan (can't for the life of me remember!) Thanks Amjad
  16. Nope, no point! Funny thing is though it's still clean!
  17. Wtf?! Looked at the pics above and I swear it was?! lol
  18. Because it's really slippery, and you have to wrap it tight
