  1. Ollie would you say the Exedy's don't last very long/aren't so good then?
  2. Looks sweet man, need a lip though imo! Have you had any trouble with the front plate yet? Is it reflective?
  3. I'm in the same position as you Lisa, my car is being put back on the road after being written off. It's just had all the repair work done, and is going for MOT next. Do I have to get tax and insurance sorted before the VIC or is it VIC then tax and insurance?
  4. Not my usual taste in music, but these are TUNES for motorway driving, especially if you have a decent system ;)
  5. Adam as long as you find a tidy one you will not regret it, trust me ;)
  6. Any more Mine's decals available? ;) I can't see the pics either for some reason
  7. Cheers guys! ;) Actually not bad, went a bit crazy towards the end of 1st term but I'm being more sensible now haha My uncle is paying for most of the bodywork as it'll be his second car for the next year which I'll get to drive now and again until I can insure it
  8. I'm in the same boat, will be around 200bhp for a while and I'm looking at the Stage 1 Ebay Exedys Free bump for a guide to changing clutch ;)
  9. That's an awesome quote dude! ;) Don't worry about economy as long as everything is running as it should. I bought my GT stock, it was drinking like crazy which is why it worried me, thought I'd have to sell up! Managed to sort a wobbly/high idle, exhaust was blowing and the rest was down to leaky tires. Got all that sorted and it comfortably does 75 miles or so to 10 litres of V-Power. That's with a lot of hard boosting @0.8 Bar on Mine's ECU, FMIC, Ported mani, Decat, Japspeed exhaust so fairly modded!
  10. Yep an AVCR is a good boost controller, you can set specific boost levels for gears and rpm I believe! Not sure about harnesses and compatibility though sorry
  11. Any word on these? May have to get one as my uncle will be driving the GT ;)
  12. No idea, it's weird though..I've filled up twice with both Tesco 99 and ten switched to V-Power. Drove in the same conditions the same style and got easily 25 miles more from V-Power from how much I put in My Leon TDi gets more miles out of Shell fuel too
  13. Part 3 of the build is out
  14. PS3 always passes time well haha..but I guarantee you'll be pacing or outside with an hour to go lol!
  15. Just to let you know, your wheels may just catch when you go over bumps a bit! I've got 5mm spacers on mine (obviously depends on your offset) but because I don't have an adjustable panhard rod, it rubs slightly (right rear wheel) when I have rear passengers and I'm going over bumps. It's really minimal though and well worth it
  16. ^Hahahaha Does anyone know a budget Camcorder that records bass/audio well?
  17. Nah it's okay, that much information helps thank you! Sparky is ordering a hose and clamps so if his fit then I'll order the same ones
  18. Thanks guys! Was just on the phone to my uncle, he was telling me the work is top notch (the guys were working on an Aston DB9 too ) and so we though screw it, the wheels are letting the car down now, get them done professionally too lol Oh also the grille has been resprayed too sorry for the lack of pics! -Wheels going Gloss Black next week -Plates came through today; nice and small yet subtle -GT front badge has been ordered (will be buying GT Turbo gel decals for the side in the near future..colour guys?) -Need to buy a car cover (to protect it until I can wax on wax off in the holidays)
  19. Awesome, get some up wen you can!
  20. Love it! Is it nice and solid without a bracket and just the clips? Did you manage to measure the diameter of the pipe or work out if it's a reducer/straight pipe?
  21. I hear the winner is actually racing at Le Mans
