  1. Yeah they'll have to be split! I'm a bit busy for the next few weeks but hoping to have it done by the beginning of July..that's if I don't forget about it lol As for the Golf, need to sell the Megane first! Gonna wait 'til after exams so I have time for viewings etc, but hoping to buy a GT TDi 130. Gutting thing is I found a minter; Indigo Blue 5dr with Recaros, 17"s, factory tints, winter pack and FSH & 57,000 miles! Why thank you Thanks for pointing it out Dan lol
  2. Firstly thank you to everyone for the kind words, I seriously never thought this car would get the kind of reception/feedback it's getting now! Sounds corny but I had a really proud moment the other day, I was driving along and noticed a stock white N/A driving behind me. The dude was trying to keep up with me and was actually taking snaps on his phone for a good mile lol! I may go ahead with some skirts in the future but will probably leave it there! If it had an fte I would go all out on the bodywork; '98 spec front & lip and ducktail/rear lip combo! I don't think I'll do the fron
  3. Trust me I have a 2" system which is perfect, and that sounds pretty good
  4. ^Yum Can't beat the stance on these though!
  5. ^That's what I've done, I'm going to try to smooth all the inside out with a dremel too when I get a chance (Popular mod on MK4 Golfs which gives good gains, worth a shot I suppose!)
  6. 2.5" pipe sounds a big big for an N/A? How's the response on it? I'd stick with the stock airbox and a K&N Panel, but if you want to get an induction kit, buy an enclosed BMC CDA! They are pricey though
  7. Lee I'm tempted to take a trip up North and get Chris to do those upgrades on mine! Oh and Asad's right about the Corolla manifold, it's definitely better than stock, but not much to shout about below 3krpm
  8. Ah yeah your right, I didn't realise I should've measured the other side! Primarily I do want low-mid range power, as I don't drive it at the limit much. But if and when I do, I would like a bit more oomph so I think the fte & stock TB manifold sounds like a good plan! That's a good explanation, made things a bit clearer now I think the fte mani is the same as the GI one, except it has more sensor plugs (which I'd have to seal)? Also good to see you back on the forums mate, your build is really something special
  9. Unlucky mate Decent price though, shouldn't hang about long for that price!
  10. As long as I'm not working, me too
  11. Thanks Gavin, I've got my idle back down to normal now on my stock TB. It sits a tiny bit higher than it used to, but I'm guessing that's because I didn't recalibrate my TPS, I just twisted it a bit. Sucks I couldn't get it to work though, I'm not a very patient person; it was doing my head in so I gave up I am hoping to get a 4efte TB and inlet manifold though which should still see an improvement
  12. Niiice! Happy Birthday!
  13. Wahey it's back up!
  14. Welcome buddy, the car looks stunning!
  15. It's pretty dire that I live in Wales and don't know of any decent roads In my defence, I do only drive in the city really
  16. Manifold back exhaust system w/decat Relocated air filter, Uprated plugs & leads, RRFPR I think with the above you should see about 185bhp at 1 Bar
  17. Yeah I had one with double springs and clutch or whatever, gutted when it broke lol!
  18. Pokemon, Gameboy and Yo-yos, I was there haha ;)
