One of them is 20" the other is 18", don't worry that it says Saxo lol they're the same size http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-SAXO-96-04-A...=item4a9b911d0e I was gonna as well! I may be coming down again this Eid but I'll message you if I do eh, then we can hook up :harhar: My bad Luke, was supposed to paste the link above lol..they've got £10 cheaper too so happy days! Oh and if anyone's planning to buy them, make sure you get the slim ballasts! Make's them much easier to fit! http://my.frooition.com/080612/hid-convers...kits-p-260.html Thanks dude, I'm hoping to get my GT spoiler and front tints on Next month so I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll look -

I think these are the ones Mark, might be H4-4 but I think it's these As for MOT, legally you're not supposed to have them if they didn't come standard unless you have projector lights with headlamp washers I believe..but I'm taking them out when I get my MOT done anyway :harhar: ..Just gotta take out a few plugs and put the old bulbs back in I'd definitely recommend them, just keep your lights clean so as not to distort the beam and it's all good! -

Well I had some Bosch ones on there before, worked nicely, but these work even better I reckon :harhar: Silent and smooth, and they look much neater too! You can't go wrong for £7 lol http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-SAXO-96-04-A...=item4a9b911d0e -
Yeah thanks bro..if you decide you want to sell them and I wanna buy them (depends on price), I could most probably come up to collect them from you :harhar:
-
Go for it bro, I've never seen wheels like that on a Starlet, I reckon it'd look cool :harhar:

Hey thanks for the review, some useful info here :harhar: Just wondering, do you use the car as a daily driver? What power figures did it achieve? And what's fuel consumption like compared to CT9 at 1bar?
-
What are you planning to do with your car then Asad? And are you still gonna get a GT?
-
Bump! Anyone else wanna come along? :harhar:

Thanks fellas, much appreciated Jonny yeah I'd definitely recommend them, soo much brighter than stock and turns heads (in a good way, not as in people whipping their heads round in despair lool) Yeah lol I was so glad when I got it off! The neons were put on by the last owner as well haha I haven't had a chance to rip them out yet..seeing as I've gotta take the wires out of the dash etc..actually thinking about it, I should have done it when I was doing my dials duhh! right that's next on the to-do list then! -

**Update** Just I'd thought I'd add a few little things to the thread Sorry about the quality of the pics by the way, most of them are off my phone I finally got my paws on some HIDs a few weeks ago, 8000K Bi-Xenons with slim ballasts..got them from HIDS-direct..really simple to fit..and haven't been flashed by anyone or pulled by coppers, the beam is tidy, though it would look even better through some clear lenses! This was quite a while back, but I forgot to add some pics, I painted the calipers silver..I reckon they look bigger/more noticeable without looking chavvy..they contrast nicely against the black rims too.. Before After Picked up an Apiro filter together with reducer and metal inlet pipe for £15..bargain! I've also got some cold air piping, but haven't had a chance to fiddle around with it yet, but even without the cold feed, it's certainly improved throttle response over the K&N Panel I had in before..goes a bit quicker top-end and sounds lovely! Yes I know, not the tidiest of engine bays lol..I did however paint the strut brace black (it was a faded blue before) and the exhaust manifold heat-shield silver, just to freshen it up a bit! Got these Aero-wipers off ebay for just £8, smartens up the front end a bit! And now for my most expensive update so far! lol I recently bought the coveted Whiteline essentials, the Anti-Lift/Caster Kit and Rear Anti-Roll Bar!! I've only just got round to fitting the Anti-Lift Kit, bit during the process my uncle managed to shred the thread on one of the Front Anti-Roll bar links DOH! So I haven't been able to test it properly in the corners ..on the straights though, it definitely lifts a LOT less, and the steering is now direct and weighted! I've just got a new Front Anti-Roll Bar link from Toyota, so I'm hoping to get the Front ARB linked up within the next few days, I hate having to potter around roundabouts and corners..! As for the Rear ARB, I'm hoping to get that done at the same time! Can't wait!! And one final goody, bought some Paseo Dials from niteryder84 for just £20 delivered! A few hours of fiddling and I got the mileage corrected and wired up, it's nice to finally have a rev-guage lol! :harhar: And in their new home! I thought I'd add pics of a few Starlets I saw up in Bradford a little while ago, phone pics so excuse the blurriness My first time seeing Speedlines in the metal! And they're growing on me a lot! I lurve this Silver Quad! What wheels are those? Bar the dodgy wheels, this GT looks pretty nice! Has it got an aftermarket kit on it or are they just the optional spats? Shame I didn't see any driving about, I still haven't experienced Turbo power lol Fiinally here's a few random pics I took while we had sunny weather, she's not been looking this clean for a while! I'm starting at my new job on Friday, I'm finally gonna have some cashflow! lol..so I can finally get round to sorting some things I've been meaning to for a while, namely getting my spoiler sprayed and fitted among other plans! Comments welcome as usual, tell me what you think! -
I believe they're festoon bulbs, not too sure on the size, round about 36mm I think? I bought an LED one (6 LEDs in the bulb), gives a nice blue/white glow, but a regular filament bulb will probably still be brighter lol If you want an LED though, I recommend this guy, he sends the items out quickly and the bulbs haven't blown like I've heard about a lot of other LEDs http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6-LED-Interior-Festo...1QQcmdZViewItem Don't quote me on the size though lol I can't remember exactly :harhar:

A Lesson On Speeding

About time you got the thread up lol! Looking forward to the plans bro..have you thought of buying Glanza alloys? They should be cheap enough right? Oh, and a tip for the sidestrip glue, get any cheapy bug/tar remover, spray it over the glue, wipe over it so it gets to the glue properly..then leave it in the sun for a while (I know unlikely now seeing as this is the UK lol) the other alternative is hairdryer, then scratch the glue off with your finger, comes off easily enough once the tar remover has settled in! Or do it the easy way and get an eraser wheel lmao

One more thing you need is a longer vaccum hose..one of the original hoses is too short (if I remember correctly its the one that goes from the Map Sensor to the inlet manifold)..A windscreen washer hose should be the right size, and you can cut it to length because they're really long! That's what I did anyway! Oh and once you've got it fitted, unplug your ECU (its hidden behind the glovebox) for 10-15 mins then plug it back in, let it idle until the engine runs smooth then enjoy!
